Absolutely true. I witnessed it many many times during my decades as a police officer and private investigator. No matter how much she hurt you and betrayed you, and no matter how much pain you're in, keep your cool and hold your tongue. Her strategy is to make you lose both.

I talked my brother off a ledge every day when his wife cheated and tried to prod him into doing something stupid.
He called me every day with a new game she was playing.
I was there for him and I really think I saved his ass.
He didnt forget it either.
He called me every day sjnce my wife was diagnosed with cancer and he still calls me every day now that shes gone.
Nothing like the bond between two Brothers.

Man, you’re not kidding.
Irs funny the things we take for granted in life and one of those things for my late wife and I was simply having a big heart for others, a servants heart.
I always took that for granted and never expected anything for it but man….now that my Wife passed and people I have been kind and helpful to all these years have really shown me with love and support that sometimes being Mr. Nice guy really does come back to you by the people you invested in.
It really gives me hope for humanity.
I’m learning alot from my new reality that living certain ways according scripture seem to reveal the rewards as promised especially if you just did things without expecting anything in return.
As a Christian I’ve never been a Bible thumper or turbo Christian.
Ive always hung out with the more gruff guys from church that would swear and smoke and do manly stuff.
Pretty much Like George Bruno…..I swear like a steelworker and I don’t take crap from anyone but man, Like I said I took things for granted and theres alot to be said for being selfless especially when people need you.
Now that I’m in need of people it is really revealing to me how important it is to be there for others, including total strangers.
And when someone does something for me I make sure I take care if them either right on the spot or soon afterwards.
Ive always been that way as it was just my way of doing things since I had to teach myself to be a man as my Dad wasn’t around.
These are the things that comfort me now that Im alone and have nobody but me and my thoughts.
Every day things are revealed to me with so much more meaning than they used to have……its hard to explain but that’s pretty much how things feel now.
I’m just glad I lost my Wife loving her instead of hating her from a divorce and dishonesty or infidelity like so many other men have.
I don’t think I would be the same person if that was the case so yes I’ve been truly blessed in life but it was incredibly hard work.
I truly feel bad for men who got screwed over by women and I can only imagine how devastating that would feel after so much investment.

My sister in-law played this stupid game. She turned the kids against him. He moved on and never looked back. His ex wife is an emotional alcoholic.

never leave your house or condo. i did, under the premise of it being 2 weeks, and i never slept in it ever again. it's been over 3 months.
