Despite the animations being a little stiff/wonky, they're not that bad.
Whoever animated this did an alright job. Hopefully they can look back at these and say: "I can add in more detail here" or "more keypoints here."
The makeshift smg is actually a real ww2 polish made smg, the "Bechowiec"

Im pretty sure it was done. Sure, it wasn’t part of the doctrine. But I’m just as sure that homemade guns weren’t part of no arsenal either.
During ww2 they have to trained with both hands or one handed and it was for British or American not other Allied or Axis.
Yeah, everybody knows humans didn't develop a second arm until 1951.
Oh my god, the amount of shit in this reply section. Not only was the two-handed Weaver technique not trained until the 1980s, people were actually trained *against* using both hands when holding a pistol so their other hand could be free. They wouldn’t be making any attempts to stabilise the gun, let alone even aim it; they would primarily used at immediate ranges for when your rifle is not available for whatever reason.

They still need more weapons, some are missing.
The pistol class is lacking, they should add the Webley revolver and another German pistol, maybe the Mauser C96.
For the SMG class they should add a Sten gun
As for the semi-auto/"Infantry" rifles they could add an iron sighted lee enfield or an M1 carbine.
For LMGs it makes no sense in a western allies vs. nazis game to have a japanese machine gun, it should be replaced by a czech ZB 26 or a German FG 42, and they should add the BAR 1918.
Other than that they're pretty ok

I noticed that the reloads are directly inspired by Battlefield V, just a little stiff it's alright though.
A good measuring stick for a world war era FPS is how clear the Garand’s PING is, and this one is fairly middle of the road.
Bolt-action rifles reduced to sniper role only? Really?
Before somebody says they would be too slow for gameplay just read about mad-minute for Lee-Enfield, you can shoot very quickly with it

3:30 the clip would not be ejected after you pull the bolt back. You need to press the clip release button on the left to eject if you are doing a mid-reload for the M1 Garand

That’s like asking why the STEN was made during WWII. Thematically it makes sense for there to be makeshift weapons, especially during a time of war like this.

This hurt to watch. As a huge gun nerd, i can say with 82% certainty, that's not how guns work. Seeing them just yank on the magazine to replace it rather than engaging the mag release, the guns just falling apart when they break, and the tactical barrel swap on the MG42, all that combines into a massive migraine for me.
Dont get me wrong, the game seems interesting and the animation quality is fine, its just, the guns themselves that are the problem.

The MG42 barrel swap is quite accurate though, and this is the first game I’ve seen that does it
@@johnstamps4829 I think I phrased it wrong, I didn't mean that the barrel swap itself was the problem. I meant that the speed and the fact that it was one soldier doing it by himself, while standing, was the issue.

Why did the bolt action get put in the semi catergory? Why does it hold only 2 rounds? Why does the mg42 carry 250 rounds? Why is there no normal bolt actions? Why did the throw in the Bren and type 99 when all of the other weapons are American and German? why is there makeshift weapons? Why is there mustard gas in ww2?
