Jacobe Spring hey there. Reporting from Florida! Yeah them worms can get crazy if left unchecked.

Thank you. I have 6 cabbage plants that are heading but are not ready for harvest. (First timmer with cabbage). Thanks for the tips..
How have they been so far?
@@rajnaturals delicious...
sweet
The information was very helpful, thank you!
Wish my cabbage looked half as pretty as yours. We had days of rain recently, and cabbage worms got hold of most of them while I couldn't tend to them. I have one, with a tiny, firm head. Maybe 1/4 lb. The rest are iffy. My first year growing cabbage. I won't give up, though. :)
itsnotthesamething Thank you for watching. These cabbages I bought off line grew better than the last ones I bought from home depot. Only a few got attacked by aphids but mostly no harm.
I pick out the leaves as we need it in the kitchen, if I have to sell some, I then allow it to form the head.
Hey my bro! How have your cabbage production been since then?
We have new content up and more on the way! You can also follow me on Facebook & Instagram for daily garden posts. 🌱💚
Nice man! Couple of questions if I may.... 1. You said you planted in December, what part of the country are you in? I live in the piedmont of NC and I'm wondering if the winter temps with bother cabbage? 2. Ever had a problem with cabbage worms? I planted cabbage for the first time back in April and I would've had a great crop had it not been for the worms! Battled them hard and still lost, might have 2 or 3 heads I'll be able to harvest....yours look killa though!
Curtis Haigler thank you for watching! I live in Florida. I definitely had some issues with worms but not as much lately. I normally check them to make sure they aren’t eating up stuff.
Yummy.,...cabbage HEAD.
Thank you, very informative about when to harvest. I had no idea about the nubs and I am going to give that a try.
How do the bigger leaves taste if your eating around the head? Will cutting those hurt the progression of the head?
They taste pretty good or the same really. If you take off too much leaves while they are growing could slow down the energy flow yes.
You bout needed a nother knife...lol....good video....
😂😂😂💯💯💯💚💚💚
OMG ITS LIT THANK YOU RAJ IM FOLLOWING YOU FAM BLACKMYCELIUM!!!
O B V U S thank you for watching!!
Hi! Nice video! Will you be uploading gardening vids in 2020?
DD's FARMacy ohhh yess! Content coming very soon!!

montego teybo oh yes :)
Good to know. I will cut my tops off and see what happens tnx.
Kobi duhte eivoi.
Either you have really big hands or these are some really small cabbages. My smalls are 4-6 lbs, large 8-15 lbs. we grow them big in the mountains🙂
Sonyia Douglas thats whats up. Too bad you don’t have content for all of us to see....
We haven't seen an update. Everything ok?
superslyfoxx1 Heyy. Sorry I have been very busy getting stuff together outside UA-cam. I just harvested everything and replanted yesterday. You can keep up with me on the daily on my facebook page too. I will get some videos in some times this week :)
@@rajnaturals Okay, I get that this is an OLD video but let me ask you, were your cabbages planted too close together for all of them to grow to a larger size Head or is it the type of Cabbage you planted. No Shade now. I have some planted now and I'm not sure how long to wait to harvest or what size to realistically expect. I'm planted in CONTAINERS.
Ms. Byrd hey there. Mainly the size is greatly affected by the fertilizer it gets. They are about a foot apart which is sorta tight but I noticed great difference in the heads swelling more bigger with potassium, phosphorus, and trac mineral rich nutrients
@@rajnaturals Thank you for answering! I use Jobe for slow release and Miracle grow for Soluable but I have a better Soluable that I could use. I also use Worm castings every other week.
Ms. Byrd I definitely use Jobes time to time. I absolutely love Dr Earth Organics and Down To Earth products :)
That knife wasn't working bro where's the machete
For real! 😂
That's what she said
lol. Those cabbages are puny!
He said he planted them in December so winter cabbage probably doesn't grow as big as summer.
Dude I like your garden! it looks kinda like mine with the mulch. You plant your cabbage closer than I do. I'm gonna try and plant mine closer next time. Good video thanks man!
quinton riley thank you! Im glad to assist.
