Or hopes and dreams. I work at a library with most of the books being from the 60s and below and most of the books...I don't understand how they're still held together.
Even the HGUC's shield is still too heavy too hold. Also I hate the open-able shield holder to store the nuclear launcher inside the shield. It just dont feel stable and actually went broke on mine.
Sometimes I think it's nice to go back to older kits because we're spoilt these day. I'm currently building a PG MK II and for a 17 y.o kit the tech is actually more impressive than my PG Exia in alot of way and I'm no way downplaying the awesomeness of the PG Exia.
A lot of older kits are awesome during its time. For example the HGUC Hazel Custom released in 2005. It is the very first HG kit to have double jointed elbow.
@@casvalcat3546 Funny you should mention that kit, I recently bought it because I didn't want to buy the P Bandai MG release and despite not building it yet, just looking at the runner I'm amazed at how much detail is in the kit for a HG.
Don't care how old it is, I love this kit. I would definitely want a 2.0 update, but nothing like the OG to bring back all the awesome memories of the 90's.
I remember when I first saw this thing and referred to it as “that one Gundam carrying a space shuttle door” and then I just called it the “nuke Gundam”
Hi @ZakuAurelius, so I just recently bought this kit, however failed to realize that tiny clear L runner so I ended up throwing it away 😢, do you have any idea where I could get replacements?
Unfortunately rather than making 2.0 of anything from 0083 they are still coming out with P-Bandai 1.0 Zaku II F2 kits and I'm guilty for buying them but that's because I don't see them making anything new for a while. I'll be more excited to see anything MG from 0080 honestly.
This kit is a super simple MG I loved building it if only the shield could be held I'm hoping we get a build divers mg from the ogres GP02 custom or maybe a GP02 2.0 alongside a build divers MG this is my wish from bandai or an MG kshatriya which will probably never see the light of day from bandai
DUDE FALLOUT CUSTOM GPO2!!! Think about it works the design fits this thing looks like a Gundam in Power Armor and hey Fallout has a weapon that fires nukes and what does the GPO2 has? A weapon that fires nukes!
NOT one of my favorite Gundam designs. I always felt the GP01 and GP03 were more like Gundams. GP02 always looked too bulky to be a Gundam... I did like 0083 in general. Very high-production values. Whether you like the story or not? Well, I can understand some of the criticisms -- it is a bit more than a little of a rehash of the original Gundam, isn't it? Not like at least SIX of the Gundam series since the original 1979 series haven't been blatant remakes. For all the complaints about remakes, at least Gundam hasn't chased its tail as badly as the SDF Macross franchise has and bitten itself trying to predict the next trend or pandered overly much to tweens and forgotten what it's about. It's embarrassing how idiotic and poorly aged Macross 7 is and how misguided Macross Delta ultimately was. They really have no idea in which direction to take the Macross franchise, do they? That seems to be par the course for most major sci-fi franchises around the world -- Doctor Who, Star Wars, and Star Trek are in very bad places right now because they've been led by ideologues and creators who don't get or reject the foundations of those series.
Ah yes, one of the few kits that nearly broke Jabman025 (the other being the ReGZ). Spoilers: the shield's soul is chained by gravity

Physalis always felt mildly Zeonic due to the legs and the shoulder shields, enough so that I wasn't surprised when it ended up in Zeonic hands
it wouldn"t surprise me if the federation were inspired by zeon suits.
It was actually designed by former Zeon engineers, hence why GP02 has a more zeonic silhouette compared to 01 and 03
He has Hitler face rather than typical Gundam vent face.
Yep, series lore has it that Zeonic staff went over to AE, which explains why WORST GIRL had a thing with the Nightmare of Solomon.

Cee It is the HG that too advanced for its time. It feel like these AOZ HGs came out in 2010-2012 instead.
YES FINALLY! I have been waiting so long for you to review this charm filled classic kit!
Miss this kit. Was 18 when I bought this back in 98
Don't care how old it is, I love this kit. I would definitely want a 2.0 update, but nothing like the OG to bring back all the awesome memories of the 90's.
I remember when I first saw this thing and referred to it as “that one Gundam carrying a space shuttle door” and then I just called it the “nuke Gundam”
I like seeing some of the older kits I would love to see some of the very first kits built and painted up.
shield needs braces. This kit along with the rest of the GP series seriously needs a version 2.0 release.
But nope Bandai think we should need more version of MG RX-78-2 instead.
Great I always wanted this kit reviewed
I have this kit. I snapped it and have yet to paint it but I can say it's not that bad of a kit if you could figure out a way to hold the shield up.
The pictures back then, when pre-shading was all the rage. ¥4000 must be before inflation
This kit is older than me by one year, and it still holds up better than my life
That artwork is done by Katoki, and I think it still looks very cool tho. Would be nice if we get a MG 2.0 for GP01-03
Holy crap. This kit is godawful but i love the damn design of this suit so much.
I remember Jabman's review of this kit. Good luck. This is going to be rough. As in glue the shield to the hand rough.
i wish they make 1/100 RE or 2.0 of this MS
add two more shoulder binders and we can call it Kshatriya ver 0.1.
What a I wouldn’t do for a 2.0 of this. Hell, any suit from Stardust Memory really.
good luck senpai on doing the kit..
That boxart........kwality
I think the build and quality of this mg is extremely close to that of a 1/100 RE. Will you agree? Stay tuned for the OOB Review!!
Not really, just because RE kits usually have very few seam lines, and more surface detail
Hi @ZakuAurelius, so I just recently bought this kit, however failed to realize that tiny clear L runner so I ended up throwing it away 😢, do you have any idea where I could get replacements?
I just got the GP02a in HG
Hey Zak! I would like to know if clear acrylic lacquer is safe for dry transfers as a replacement for topcoat. Thanks!
the OG Nuke Gundam.
Super THICC!
I build that
I hope Bandai announces a 2.0 series of kits from 0083. It’s been long overdue!
I remember seeing this kit for sale in Toys'R'Us lol.
best gundam to fight bigzam and neu ziel
"GATOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
Damn this kit has alot going on for an older mg
Would it be possible at all for you to do a FAQ video on line art and color schemes in general?
itsbinkl182 not a bad idea! I’ll consider that!
Would L-O-V-E a 2.0 of this
This needs a 2.0 so bad
to think that it is more like RE of recent times
Badly needs a 2.0, just like Kampfer needs to be redone....
I'm surprised you didn't find a fucking black widow in that box from how old that shit is.
You going to do a paint project on this guy?
This is one of those kits they need to release a version 2.0. Somehow Bandai forgets that. Older kits tend to be not much detail like newer kits.
Phyo Thant I agree
Unfortunately rather than making 2.0 of anything from 0083 they are still coming out with P-Bandai 1.0 Zaku II F2 kits and I'm guilty for buying them but that's because I don't see them making anything new for a while. I'll be more excited to see anything MG from 0080 honestly.
THICC BOI!
Hey Bandai, where's the RG?
please oh please do a speed build on this pls i beg of you
This kit is a super simple MG I loved building it if only the shield could be held I'm hoping we get a build divers mg from the ogres GP02 custom or maybe a GP02 2.0 alongside a build divers MG this is my wish from bandai or an MG kshatriya which will probably never see the light of day from bandai
Why the box art has that 'johnny johnny' animations
Upload the original audio for the lols
Maybe a short clip of it to my Facebook page tomorrow
Well hello there
Are you going to make a review for this kit?
Please just say YES! (Far Cry 5 reference)

ZakuAurelius can you customize that GP02 into a Ogre GP02 in Gundam Build Divers?
why??? just why did you buy that???
0:31
CODY!!! why??? just why did you buy that???
No one's problem: ''why is my gunpla manual in Japanese?''
Too bad the model wasn't based off of the gorgeous line art
DUDE FALLOUT CUSTOM GPO2!!! Think about it works the design fits this thing looks like a Gundam in Power Armor and hey Fallout has a weapon that fires nukes and what does the GPO2 has? A weapon that fires nukes!
