The ultimate edition just looks so accurate with the different rear wheels and everything while the black version looks like the car that was used to promoted the 2nd movie.
These are amazing! I have the Greenlight version 24/1 and it's poor compared to these... But at least I have a version of the car. Road Warrior is a rare example of the sequel being better than the original (in my opinion). Great review!
Thank you and the Greenlight is great because it now gives people a chance to get one for a more affordable price but you are very correct in the Autoart versions being of higher quality and detail.
At the start of Mad Max 2 the car smashes into another car and loses the remainder of the front of the grill and light assembly unit, the ultimate edition is why it comes with it off.
Great video. I’m lucky to have these two like yourself and I also have the tuned version- I like all three equally- the dirty version I have is no 893 bought quite a while ago on eBay and think I paid around £200.00 Pounds. I wouldn’t ever sell any of them. I know everything has it’s price but some things aren’t replaceable 😁 by the way yes it would have had two machetes
There’s a guy who customizes the Greenlight model and sells them on eBay. I’ve bought the Interceptor from Mad Max one and this one from Mad Max 2 from him along with an awesome Ecto 1 with working lights and siren :) The big difference obviously is he adds working lights. Here’s one of his Mad Max Interceptors he muddied up if you’re curious. ua-cam.com/video/AS5IzkU20bo/v-deo.html
Best movie car ever

I personally really like how they did the dirty version.

Makes sense, and you jogged my memory since it's been quite a few years since I watched the movie.
Does the front end come off like the dirty version on the clean version. Thank u
It is not removable as far as I can tell on the clean version, and I don't really want to try and find out.
It is removable according to other videos I watched.

Thank you for the kind words. You are very lucky to have those 3, and thank you for confirming on the machetes.
Looks great 🤘🏻
Thanks!!
I love it! I'm looking for model like this, but for self build. Anybody knows where to find one?
I do not know of a model kit of this but it max exist somewhere.
Theres even 2 more rare versions, 1 of 1000 with a black box and silver text, those 2 are the 1/2000 versions
I did not know that until yourself and others told me, those others must cost a small fortune.
Great breakdown my friend!
$399.99 plus shipping for the clean model 😢
Tax refund $$$?
$400 bucks is pretty insane but they are pretty old and rare these days.
I just got one for $380 shipped
@@slackerman4161 All things considered that's not bad these days, I hate to say I paid less than $200 each for these years ago.
@@PitstainHobbies yeah
I want the weathered one but that’s going from $700-$1500 now lol
I was fortunate to get this for so cheap
@@PitstainHobbies I have the weathered 1/43 enemy car and interceptor set Autoarts made so that’s good 👍
I’m getting one later and I’m gonna whether it
Awesome, have fun!
