This actually inspired me a lot! I've used a loght directly on the hotshoe until now. But using that hotshoe extender + double ballhead might just be that little extra. Thanks for sharing!
Great video Kamil! Just a suggestion...it would've been nice to see the side-by-side images at the end showing the differences in the 3 lighting options. Just a suggestion for the next one.👌🏿
I enjoyed this video and very useful little tip. First footage you say wasn't that good but it's better than nothing. It's a pitty dslrs have alot of noise and your third footage looked good. With your setup it's solves alot and looks good with light being there at an angle. Glad you said you can get the stuff in amazon. What's the total weight? Can you use this setup with smartphone too? Thanks for sharing this little tip!!!
Thanks! I don’t know the exact weight but it’s fine to hold in the hand. It’s possible to use it with a smartphone - sure - remember my vlog where I was showing how to set up Star Adventurer for Milky Way shots? I was using this light rigged up to my iPhone for most of the in-the-field footage.
Hey Kemil, We make foodie videos in Vietnam, WE spend a lot of them in dark bars or alley ways.. Looking for a way to light up the interviewers using 18 - 40 mm lenses using a portable lighting rig! Do you have any recomendations.
Hmm, I think foldable LED panels and lightstands are gonna be the best option. They could be powered via V-mount batteries. If you don’t need as much light and want something even more portable then a few Aputure MCs might just do the trick!
Hey man, thanks for this. Not many people talking about night time vlogging on UA-cam so I really appreciate your advice. Cheers
