Even though we all know about it and it's pretty played out at this point talking about it you always got to feel kind of bad for Randy since Ernie just rubbed it in so much after a horrible break
Lots of people let Pete Weber have hell for his on-the-lane conduct, and while he deserved it, we knew that came with PDW. But this from Ernie Schlegel? It was the most embarrassing spectacle I ever saw, and they should have fined him for it, just like they fined Pete Weber when he crossed the line.
Gonna probably downvoted into the sun, but Schelgel's reaction after Randy left that stone 8 never ceases to make me laugh really hard. Yep, I know it was tasteless and pretty much in form for Ernie, but I just cannot help it when I watch it.
You should do a video on celebrations gone wrong, the first clip you put up made me think of Ryan ciminelli when he called "Aced it" for a 7 CT in a rolloff to lose
The 8 - 10 and 9 - 7 splits are the most annoying splits you run into playing a straight up shot. If you don’t hit the pocket right it can cause all sorts of problems
Those pocket 7-10's are, for the most part, unbelievable! I'm old enough to remember when the only way to leave one was by putting the ball dead center on the head pin. With today's equipment it's become a case of just praying you don't leave one no matter how good you hit the pocket.
Ernie was a legendary action bowler back in the 60s and 70s. Dude doused himself in booze to hustle people, ya think he was gonna cry over Randy's stone 8????? Nah....
One of the worst I've seen was the 2019 Players Championship title match between Belmonte and Simonsen. Belmonte had two high flush pocket shots that left a 7-10 with the last one in the 10th frame when he could've shut out Simonsen. Simonsen would win his second major. I've never seen a 7-10 where the 6 wrapped around the 10 while the 7 still stands and it happened to him twice that match. Unbelievably bad luck.
What are you talking about? They were half pocket like pretty much every other 7-10 and yes it was a bad break, but if you leave two 7-10's in five frames on a lane you're playing them wrong.
@@gunz300 he's talking about where the 6 wraps around a 10, like occurs in a ringing 10, that's a very uncommon way to leave a 7-10, most 7-10's have the 7 stand while the 10 is a "flat 10" and not a "ringing 10." Semi related but I was lucky enough to see that one in person, definitely stunning.
So when I was a kid Walter Ray was the man but now as an adult I’ve noticed his carry was awful I’ve been watching a lot of older videos that man leaves so many corner pins
He should have won way more tourneys than he did. He never carried many ten pins when he needed to. I figure his lack of carry was from a lower rev rate and that down and in shot he played.
@@TheVlad1616yea but hitting the pocket with a lower rev rate and back then, weaker balls, meant his ball wasn't driving through the pocket as hard as it should have.
Man imagine leaving a 7/10 and then almost picking up, if he woulda got that he probably woulda won? I’m not sure what his score woulda been, someone help
Barnes' weak 10 @6:45 came from bowling with shitty Columbia equipment. Had he bowled with Storm, he would have carried it. I can say that with authority, because I left more 10s with Columbia and Ebonite and barely have that problem with Storm & Roto Grip.
Ernie...gets Worst Sportsmanship Award. Then a black eye from Randy.

@@getreal6124relax, all he did was celebrate a win. Game was over after that shot
@@ericpadilla2454 his behavior was totally obnoxious dude.
@@blinkers88 obnoxious is fine. Still isnt out of hand or illegal to celebrate a damn win
Never cared much for Pederson and still couldn't.
Ernie's celebration made it even funnier!
Am I the only one who thinks the people that always yell "Spare it up" after a terrible break is annoying?
it is a tired line, but I take is as a prompt to refocus on the task at hand. But I can see it as being annoying since it's so overused.
@@Krranskiyeah, i do that to my son sometimes and he usually gets annoyed
i found it better to just say, stay focused
Someone should do a list of "annoying things bowlers say". Would span multiple videos...
That or "pick it up."

I saw that live and was in shock
As Per Randy Pederson, I LOVE IT AS I cannot stand that Man on the Microphone.. SERVES HIM RIGHT!!
Interesting, never heard of a Dutch 200. Had to look it up. Better than a Dutch Oven, I guess lol.
been in bowling 60 years, jr, pot games, scorekeeper leagues, never seen one, never had one
With no audio, my mind overlaid Ernie Schlegel's voice when Patrick Allen ran offscreen.
Fun video I idea... compile all the times Pete Weber got in trouble with the PBA. Fined, banned, etc.
that would be a banger for sure
We'll never let it go Randy...we never will.

Randy had PTSD when Barnes left the 8 pin 😂
Peterson cries about that eight every chance he gets. Love it

It’s simple physics… the ball is deflecting too much. Either because it rolled out too early, or never got into the roll.
i asked ernie schlegel during an interview if had any regrets about that moment. he said “none at all”. that’s the type of competitor he is..

@@jaysantos11 I know that Bill Murray's character in Kingpin was partially inspired by him.
I did a similar thing as Ryan with the Greek church I got 4 and sent one of the pins over the 4 pin to have it land right in front of it.
I always thought Ciminelli threw a devastating strike ball. Seemed Ike it was 30mph....lol
I like the blue oil over the red they have been using. I’m colorblind and the red doesn’t stand out as well for me

ciminelli's left arm is way bigger than his right lol, its hard not to notice
One time I had to make 6-9-10-4-7 spare and 2 pins to win a tournament
pro sports 101 - never place yourself in a position to require a result. Things fall apart for that reason.

MUHAMMAD ALI gets me every time 😅
🤣 For the old people!
Whenever something like this happens to Sean Rash, it's not a bad break. It's just karma.
Not sure how he pulls such a hot wife
Just an FYI. Chris Barnes left the 8 pin against Scroggins not the 9 pin.
dont sliss
Ciminelli 7-10 not bad break. Bad shot at worst time
Except when he gunned all in on the split attempr
