- I spent a week on Nootka Island, BC hiking the Nootka Trail in late September. It was such a beautiful hike full of old growth rainforests, gorgeous beaches, stunning waterfalls, and rocky coastline. If you are looking for an adventure you won't regard, I highly recommend this trail.

So good. Thanks for sharing the adventure.
Thanks for following along!
Heading to the island this July - I did the Juan de Fuca in 2016, West Coast Trail 2017, and will do the North Island Trail in 2019. These are all amazing trails and I'm very excited to see Nootka Island up close. (I actually even lived in Tahsis and never made it!). Loved your video - it has me very excited to get out there!
Awesome! It's such a great hike. It's nice and quiet (probably due to the extra work to get there). This island is so blessed with amazing places to explore. Have a great trip and glad my video helped get you excited for the hike.
This music is horrible
Thanks for watching, sorry you didn't enjoy it.
@@ScottBell No, I enjoyed it. Just not the music.
Watch it on mute then dipshit
subscribed! what pictureprofile do you use with the gh5 again? and do you colorgrade at all?
Thanks for following along! I'm shooting in the Natural profile and grading in Premiere Pro using Lumetri. I am pretty light on the color grade though for most of my stuff. I like a slightly faded look so it's that with a bit of a contrast boost and saturation increase on skin tones.
great video my man. great music as well. inspiring.
Cheers. Thanks for watching
This is amazing, thanx for posting 🙂 (is it cheaper to go to Nootka island by sea plane or boat?)
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! I imagine it's cheaper by boat but I can't recall. If you want to do the trail as a one way trip you have to do it by plane I believe and get dropped off at the top of the island.
Mmmm nootka
It's a beautiful place!
Just completed this, the gravel is a pain in the ass!
Yeah the pea gravel is the worst. Hope you had a good trip.
@@ScottBell agreed. Thanks we did!
Where was the location of the cave you could camp in?
I can't remember exactly as this trip was quite some time ago but I think it was around location 11 on this map mountainclubs.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Nootkamap.png Good luck!
Excellent
Such a great trail, highly recommend it. Thanks for watching.
Scott Bell hoping to do it this July - video was well put together
@@T.robPrairie Nice, enjoy!
