This breaks my heart. I was a foster parent for 12 years I provided a loving home in spite of a system that doesn’t really want to see stability. Keep speaking up!
@@rachelsill79 I saw my last 2 to age 18 and there group homes. We are still in touch with many of our kids. Please don’t vilify those who’ve cared. I'm absolutely disgusted by the number of people who are saying these children deserve abuse because they are criminals. When is it ever okay to dehumanize someone to that extent? A criminal is still a person with feelings and opinions and a life, there is no excuse for abusing another person. This sort of behavior will continue as long as we keep believing that a person can become so substandard that they don't deserve the human right of safety.
You are so right about that, and this is all across the country when these schools are closed and turned into teen prisons. when I was in Troyon school for boys, the success rate was only about 20% and a few short years that went down as new hires were hired for their brawn not brains and other characteristics that were deemed acceptable to the state of New York, but we’re not helpful to the children. Talking about it is not gonna help the problem. There is a solution out there to develop schools that actually help kids it’s a long road, but we did this to Native Americans so why not do the same to those who have never had love in their life and give them a true chance and it’s good work if you can get it. Oh you bet.....and there's more. I am SICKENED at what I encountered in WA state as "help". You WATCH who you hire to be around vulnerable kids, or kids that are in places like this. Predators LOVE them.
This is so heartbreaking. Why am I not surprised. It’s sick that the state employed rapists to watch kids. This man is very brave for speaking out. I pray for all these poor children. We should not be incarcerating children.
When I was a kid I did about a couple months in juvenile hall total and over the couple months that I was in there like six staff had been fired from the facility for having sex on site lol meaning all of them were caught...
I was in a foster care group home, and this shit happens all the time. if you talked about it they would take you next door and lock you up in juvenile hall next door . In newport oregon
Right of passage is a juvenile detention center. They need to be investigated too. A lot of abuse going on. It’s really sad what the kids have to go through.

Juvenile detention nationwide is big business supported by state and federal laws that under the guise of protecting juveniles privacy, arresting officers, prosecutors, judges, prison officials and others are protected from public scrutiny and accountability.
I have a friend who is a resident psych at one of these places in Houston. She says it's just as bad as a maximum security prison. Teen gang members run the places basically. Why it's tolerated I'll never understand.
So what was his “one little mistake” that he ended up behind bars ? Those that abused him also need to pay, but I’m not going to gloss over the fact that he did something to end up there.
Im pretty sure getting fucked by a grown man wasn’t part of his sentence/ punishment for the crime he committed… and the criminal record of juveniles isn’t public record so it’s really none of your business what he was convicted for

How many employees have been arrested?
Ingram’s parents were some real scum to allowing a security to abuse their child in their own home. They thought that would be funny….

There needs to be some oversight -- perhaps concerned parents.
