@Ameri Can you arr so right. I was the one who found out about my condition and tried to get any doctor to see it and connect the dots. I found in through blogs, comments and chat rooms. Every doctor I see know say that they trust me because I know my body. They are in there taking notes off of what I tell them. Even the specialist I see says they just don't know. I like him because he is like Doctor House in reali life and without the limp...I told him that

Dr. Berg has literally saved my life multiple times. There were days I was on my last breath, on my death bed when doctors told me it's nothing they could do. Then I see a Dr. Berg video explaining exactly what's wrong with me and how to fix it!!! I really wish he could be my doctor in real life but I'm in Chicago 😞

I was soooo excited when I saw your title! I had late stage Lyme Disease years ago. Move forward to about 2 years ago…whammo! I was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Overactive Bladder, and Non Celiac Gluten Sensitivity. I have not sweated in about 2 years. I have weird discoloration in my breast with itching. I had 2 Shingles and Pneumonoccal vaccines which made me extraordinarily sick. Anyway…then….my feet bottoms started burning with the feeling of stepping on Legos. My legs got so weak, I couldn’t stand in one position for more than 30 seconds and couldn’t walk very far. I had tingling in both legs and arms. My arms got very weak. Thighs feel frozen all the time. I am exhausted all the time. Sleep specialist said I was fine. Saw a neuromuscular neurologist. He examined me and ordered 13 blood tests to rule out Diabetes, toxins, autoimmune diseases, and Myasthenia Gravis. He ordered an EMG and Nerve Conduction tests that ruled out CIDP, ALS, etc and large fiber neuropathy. So, now I’m dealing with his diagnosis of Small Fiber Neuropathy- idiopathic. Taking Pregabalin for pain. PT for strength. The pain is the worst to deal with, then not having strength, then the annoyance of the weird sensations. I strive to remain hopeful that I will eventually be pain free and able to live my life.
I have POTS, sweating at night, digestive stuff even after 3 years on keto, but I was in much worse shape before I started so I'm glad this is all I deal with. I have also lost 105lbs. So I'll be patient. Mineral salt, electrolytes and avoiding dehydration also helps.
I have Pots as well and just recently diagnosed with automatic neuropathy. Fasting definitely helps as well as compression stockings. I wish you the best.

But with optimal nutrition with some extras is feeling like such a right track. Thanks Dr berg. You saved my life. and I have used your videos to convince my mother, father, two sisters, neice, and a couple good friends to all be keto. They also feed My uncle keto because he has dementia, and its night and day. Many many thanks, and appreciations. This adventure has been wonderful and will continue to be so.

I started to have symptoms of dysautonomia (autonomic nervous system dysfunction) shortly after I had MERS in 2012. My cardiologist diagnosed me with it using a combination of EKG, ECG and blood pressure readings by having me go from laying down to standing up and checking all three at laying down, sitting up and then standing up and my neurologist just did ANS testing and he confirmed the diagnosis. My neurologist has recommended that I start ALA at 600mg 3 times a day. Of course I have diabetes (LADA or type 1.5), CRPS, CIDP, Sjogrens syndrome and Addison's syndrome.
Listening to you awhile ago you mentioned TUDCA was your favorite Bile salt. Well I’ve had trouble in that area for decades, I tried TUDCA and in two days I was operating in a normal way. I’m so happy I know how to listen. Thanks
I have dysautonomia after a flu followed by hepatitis A. severe orthostatic hypotension and bladder issues. ill since 5years. Thank you for that video Dr.Berg
Dr. Berg thank you for your videos. Especially this one I took vitamin b complex within 15 minutes stop sweating and had energy. Have felt yucky for weeks now WOW 😍😍😍😍 THANK YOU
Hi Dr berg I am from India No words to say about you, getting education and knowledge is to educate the people in the right direction, Prevention is better than cure ( this is what our world is lacking today ) .This world needs you Dr Berg 👏
I was diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy after 2+ years of burning feet and hand. This spring the neurologist finally conducted a skin punch biopsy. I had a bout the orthostatic hypotension in her office a year ago. Now I have the excessive sweating. Still no treatment. I asked for glucose tolerance test since I carry weight around my waist and my A1c is normally around 5.4. That said my fasting glucose has bounced around 90-108 for many many years. She looked at me and said no, my glucose is fine and ruled out glucose intolerance as a cause. Based on your video, I think I will ask my pcp.
Hi thank you doc ,I dont know if it is new or old video ,but it is what I have wanting to see neuropathy from inflammation of nerve not from diabetes. I SAW YOUR VIDEO WITH LINK BETWEEN FEET AND LIVER .IT WAS MY RELIEVE ,SO NOW I CAN FINISH WATCHING MY VIDEO FOR IT IS ALL ABOUT ME ,THANK YOU FOR THE EXISTENCE OF NUTRITIONAL YEAST, BECAUSE IT IS MY MEDICINE. THANK YOU DOC.
I’m 72, & some of my oldest memories include being given enemas for my constipation. My granddaughter was constipated as a breast-fed newborn. I’m talking her having a poop ball in her diaper almost the size of a tennis ball. She was 5 before the doctors figured out she was extremely lactose-intolerant.
I’m a very big fan of dr berg as he’s very knowledgeable when it comes to everything related to the human body. The information you get from his videos, you won’t ever get from your GP. This video and many other videos of dr berg’s, are key to helping me understand & reverse my diabetes. I’m 34 now & recently diagnosed Type 2, but after watching his videos I completely understand that I was a pre-diabetic in my teens. I understand food a lot more now than I did back then so hopefully with the help of dr Berg and black seed oil plus other bergs supplement and diet recommendations, I will Atleast control it for now. Just 1 question - are tomatoes bad for diabetics?
I am so thankful to have found your channel. I was in the PharmD program and unfortunately had to leave because of finances but I gained enough knowledge to understand some of what you are saying and how it makes sense. Now, I have so many things not working correctly that I don't know what protocol to use first. I'll give the number you provided a call and get things moving - I REALLY need help!
This is incredible information thank you Dr. Berg! I think this might be the answer and the mystery I have been trying to solve since I turned 45! I’m 48 now and I have severe pain in lower part of legs, burning sensation in arms, abdominal pain, mild sleep apnea, palpitations, lack of sexual function. The biggest mystery for me has been the pain in heels when I wake up making it almost impossible to walk right after I wake up! Do these symptoms mean I have autonomic neuropathy? Another symptom I’m experiencing is sudden feeling of passing out if I don’t eat every few hours!! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I’m a diabetic as well and had terrible numbness and tingling in my hands at night as well as pain in my feet when I got up in the morning that it was hard to walk. Been using Benfotiamine 600mg at breakfast and dinner. It has gone away almost 100%. When I stop or miss some days taking it it returns slowly so Ill keep taking this for the rest of my life. I use Alpha Lipoic acid as well but not as consistently.
Dr Berg, I was diagnosed 12.4 aic as a T2 in January. I assumed I also had IR, my dr told me yesterday that when I was tested in jan I didn’t have IR. I didn’t think that was possible. If IR didn’t cause my T2, I don’t know what did. On the plus side my aic is now 5.2 and I’ve lost 95 pounds 🎉💪 Could you please do a video on diabetics without IR
I have each and every one of these symptoms. I've been to cardiologist, urologist, gastroenterologist, endocrinologist, primary care, and it's like a circular firing squad, each pointing at the others. Diagnoses from depression to medication side effects, to menopause (as a man they even checked my estrogen which was normal.) All of my labs come back nearly normal. Body temp, blood pressure all over the place. This is absolutely maddening. I've almost given up but I just can't live the rest of my life like this. I sleep alternately under a heating blanket or sweating on top of the sheets. I take an Ambien and a lorazepam before bed and still take 2 hours to fall asleep. And yet I can go back to bed and sleep for an hour 4 times a day. I ache, my arms are weak and heavy. I feel like I have a small case of the flu all... the... time.
Same exact situation. It’s crazy. I caught covid for a second time in October and all these issues surfaced immediately after recovery. I was an athlete before all this.
Mine was caused by severe traumatic brain injury. And DAI. They spoke to my caregivers about it finally have enough faculties to recognize all those problems
Serious Stuff...doctor it's been a scary past few weeks. You do the video on stomach pain and then this one. Knew all about it prior to your posting this video and thank you for the advice. My doctors are covering all the bases, ultra sounds, ct, endoscopy, getting the hida scan next week. you list the symptoms ..check check check. kinda hoping its a dysfunction with my gallbladder. get it cut out and move on..I'm on keto as therapy for my epilepsy.
Same. Dx March. I knew exactly when it started. It's really debilitating, especially what I came from before this. My high energy, high functioning life is 180 degrees, and I'm struggling.
Yyyyup! Part of the March 2020 cohort here. Just had my 2 year 'anniversary' ...critical case, 7 times to the ER, no help from the hospital though I was sent there multiple times, but sadly, because I refused the vent, and they refused care. Yyyyyyup. Still have elevated antibodies and on a lot of meds, supplements and can't live with out my eyevernctin, mara viroc, and HBOT. Definitely phrenic nerve damage....With you, Luella. I was only treating people in our urgent care for 5 months, effectively, before it had a name. What a mess. (planned mess, of course).
@@teresa985 Things have somewhat improved for me primarily bc of my Cranialsacral Therapist I believe. He is Upledger trained and I see him every other week. I am Def using supplements, including minerals and digestive enzymes and other things. Deep breathing techniques and exercises I know improve Vagus function and therefore can positively impact the Autonomic nervous system. I wish I could remember to focus more on this. Hope this helps.
@@teresa985 Yes some problems with concentration. My brain also gets Overwhelmed easily. I never could do the brain MRI. Most of the time, they don't find anything but you just never know. I did the neck MRI and they barely found anything, but I went to get Xrays from a Chiro just after that and that's when I saw the damage from an accident. It was bad and my Atlas-C1 was pulled way out and had caused a lot of issues for me. These issues can be complex, so be sure to take a comprehensive approach. Make sure you're getting enough minerals, including the right kind of salt. I know I personally need to work on my gut issues more and diet. Hope you can get things under control. This is a tough diagnosis but I believe in natural therapies and the medical community can only do so much for us and others who really need extra help.
@@teresa985 I thought the same thing and neither one of them showed my C1 was out of alignment. It took xrays for me. Atlas misalignment can cause all types of issues as well as C2. If you get an MRI make sure it is positioned to show that area bc the jaw blocks that view. I just meant what you were asking me about if diet and other things helped. Just try multiple approaches like diet, supplements, and anything else you think might be helpful. It sounds to me like your upper vertebrae could be an issue, but only diagnostic tests would determine that. You could search for an Atlas Orthogonal Dr, a Cranialsacral therapist, or even someone who does Acupuncture. If decide to see a Cranialsacral therapist, try the Upledger Institute online first. I'm not up on testing but I know there were other options available when I was searching but none were in my area.
Iwatch allot of your videos and they do help on giving an insight as to what the symptoms means. FYI: You made an error that orthostatic hypotension is pots. Keep doing what your doing.
Thanks for sharing this great information, Dr. Berg! When I was morbidly obese and prediabetic, I would sweat nonstop... it was embarrassing! Now, after losing 135 pounds, I sweat appropriately... I mowed the yard the other day, and my husband said, wow, you're not even sweaty... LOL! Before, I would have looked like a drenched rat, even if it was only 60 degrees outside...
I have this, small fiber neuropathy and postgangleonic sudomotor dysfunction as a result I lyme/coinfections/mold gone too long undiagnosed. I do not have diabetes. I am considering stem cells through my lyme clinic after we are done treating the Lyme.
Dr Berg, I have had type ll diabetes for 13 years now. Mine was not because I ate to much sugar, because I didn't. My mom had Dementia. She just about wore me out caring for her. She would run away from me all the time. The Police were always here. My Doctor said it was because of my nerves What do you think?
i have almost all of those symptoms, and i’ve had a neurological issue for a few years now. RIP. Meditation also help guys it’s really good for your nervous system i’ve experienced it before: every aspect of your being seems to get healthier and function better after a good session of deep relaxation, breathing, and letting go.
Hello Dr Berg, greetings from Nepal and I am a huge fan of your UA-cam videos. Your findings are just out of this world, your micro level analysis on every topic is magnificent. Could you please tell me the recommended dosages of Benfotiamine and Alpha Lipoic Acid? I have tingling and numbness feeling on my leg and hand of left side both. I do not have diabetes, but do have vitiligo, psoriasis and gastritis. Thanks!
What about the lungs and the nerve damage to them. I have been suffering with peripheral neuropathy but now am having trouble breathing when talking to long and I am afraid it’s based on the autonomic system failing. Have never been more scared. On a treatment plan through my chiro with a paleo influence. Also having problems with the digestive system with constant belching. Should I go to the ER?
Thanks Dr. Berg. What if the Gastroparesis has gone so far that he/she cannot digest fat and protein properly? This usually causes vomiting and discomfort. Would an increase in bile and acidity levels in your stomach help with that or what kind of foods would be good while working your way towards fatty meats & fish again?
I suffer from autonomic small fiber neuropathy. My bladder no longer works so I have a Foley catheter. I have adrenal insufficiency and must take cortisol daily. It’s also affecting my blood pressure and heart rate. My blood pressure is low and heart rate is always high even at rest. Now, my bowels have slowed to a crawl. I always wonder what else is going to fail. This is an incredibly painful disease. I feel like I’m being shocked, sliced with razor blades and walking on broken glass.
@@ubiebikingsley228 I take gabapentin, alpha-lipoic acid, oxycodone and a long acting hydromorphone. My doctor uses Botox on the inside of my bladder to slow down my spasms. Where are you from?
On your list I noticed that diabetes is listed as number 1. Isn't diabetes an autoimmune disease, so shouldn't it be listed autoimmune and then diabetes being the top autoimmune disease causing it? Just wondering. Thanks!
Dr, I was diagnosed with this a few years ago. In your video you suggest the two supplements. In your website I only see the one. How much should I take daily please I didn’t hear you say the recommended dose.
My neurologist made fun of me and wrote bad things about me in his office notes. A kind foot dr did the nevessary testing and it proved me right. Also was told to take the recommended meds here which have helped me.
I have been talking benfotamine 300 mg two pills but it was not doing very well so i google to find out what else I do advice Boswellia and Folic acid and also soaking feet in a hot water tell you the truth it is amazing help but I am thankful to dr Berg he guided me to right direction
@@Drberg Hi, two questions: 1) How much Benfotiamine does Dr. Berg recommend for those experiencing autonomic neuropathy? 2) When Dr. Berg says to take 600mg 3x daily of Alpha Lipoic Acid, is he talking about Alpha "R" Lipoic Acid which is all natural, or an Alpha Lipoic Acid that includes synthetics?
My daughter has POTS, Dysautonomia and EDS as well as gastroparesis. She doesnt have diabetes and she weighs 110 pounds. So what about her. Shecwas diagnosed at 17

Hey Leslie I’m in the same boat! Type 1 lada! 10 years now sucks, any advice??? Greatly appreciated

With all due respect, if one's BP drops that rules out POTS. That is a diagnostic definition. (Love your videos!)
Dr. Berg thank you for your videos. Especially this one I took vitamin b complex within 15 minutes stop sweating and had energy. Have felt yucky for weeks now WOW 😍😍😍😍 THANK YOU
I just had autonomic testing. I've been trying to recover from a serious car accident for almost 2 years and I have all of these symptoms.
I'm curious how you learned all these things? Love the videos! Love that they are quick and to the point. Thank you!
Hi Dr berg I am from India
No words to say about you, getting education and knowledge is to educate the people in the right direction, Prevention is better than cure ( this is what our world is lacking today ) .This world needs you Dr Berg 👏
This is so fascinating! I feel like this is a college course condensed in an 8 minute video. Its amazing
Hi thank you doc ,I dont know if it is new or old video ,but it is what I have wanting to see neuropathy from inflammation of nerve not from diabetes.

Dr Berg, I was diagnosed 12.4 aic as a T2 in January. I assumed I also had IR, my dr told me yesterday that when I was tested in jan I didn’t have IR. I didn’t think that was possible. If IR didn’t cause my T2, I don’t know what did.
On the plus side my aic is now 5.2 and I’ve lost 95 pounds 🎉💪
Could you please do a video on diabetics without IR

I was diagnosed with this 3 months after covid, I'm apart of a survivor group on Facebook and so many us now have nerve damage. 😞

Same.

Things have somewhat improved for me primarily bc of my Cranialsacral Therapist I believe.
@@teresa985
Yes some problems with concentration.
@@teresa985
I thought the same thing and neither one of them showed my C1 was out of alignment.
