Thanks. We will be travelling from ACT to QLD at xmas and looking for campsites along the way so this was helpful. Do you need to book at any of the sites or is it first in, best dressed? Also what was the free campsite that you were going to show us instead of coopernook hotel if it wasn't raining? One more question, we will be in a tent. Are tents allowed at all these sites? (I only saw vans).
Glad it was helpful. No booking needed, although Kookaburra does take bookings if you prefer. The free camp was Coopernook State Forest (tents allowed there) Also tents are allowed at the Kookaburra and Gumma. Have a great trip 😃
