A PPI will only give you so much info, as they’re mostly visual and check for worn items, frame damage, and test all functionality to make sure things operates as it should. Do you have any maintenance/repair history on the car? I would be more inclined to believe your issues stem from a previous mechanic who performed major work, as I don’t believe this to be a common issue with Mezger or any Porsche engine for that matter. Really sorry to hear about your terrible luck on a new to you car.
