      Because it doesn't have the water physics of water separation caused by the power and push of the turbines, it looks unrealistic. This is when the VFX Supervisor comes in and ask you if you need a crash course in physics.

    The initial concept is intriguing; however, there are a few aspects that could be improved upon. When the object is moving towards the viewer, the visual effect is quite appealing. However, when it moves away, the distinction between the model and the real world becomes apparent, particularly due to the presence of stones in the lake or river.Additionally, the distance from the shore is limited to a maximum of 100 meters, which further restricts the size of the object. It would be advantageous to consider an alternative angle.
    And the best part is that you can now generate 3D models in a flash!
    Good luck.

    • @PhilFlock
      @PhilFlock  Місяць тому

      @@kadamin it all depends on the power of the computer and the time you're willing to wait.
      I usually render in full HD for social media.
      And noise threshold under 0.05
      Especially in dark scenes you want to keep it as low as possible
      In a bright scene like mine here I could get away with a higher threshold.
      And samples around 500 usually does it for me. Some people say you can go as low as 50 or 20. I never had the guts to render that low tho. Experiment with it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    Any Idea why i dont get any fog from principled volume? everything is like in the video except from the fog.

    • @PhilFlock
      @PhilFlock  Місяць тому +1

      Could be multiple reasons
      Are you working in cycles
      Did you apply the scale to your volume object.
      Is the volume object big enough (or too big)
      Is the density of the fog high enough
      Is it plugged in into volume output
      Is the anisotropy 0.6?
      Lastly
      Sometimes blender is just broken and it helps to make another volume object and apply the principled volume shader
      Check out my last tutorial which goes more into volumetrics if the tips didn't help.

    Hey Phil I just subscribed to your channel. I like your style, however, I'm kinda hampered by what my computer will allow me to use. Grin. I'm maxxed out on power . I use Blender 2.9 and sometimes 3.5...( but it'll crash alot). But here is a video I made as a tribute to Hobo Shoestring. He was a good guy. Let me know what you think. ua-cam.com/video/DcR9hyXP9Z0/v-deo.htmlsi=vjsuZWnhO-OZc8TU Thanks again, Phil. Do you think some of the aspects in your video will work in Blender 2.9 - 3.5?
