- not to be a complete downer... but it is TOUGH to live in london right now, but nothing is impossible!!! we just need to be smart about it 😎
in today's video, my aim was to be as open and transparent as possible in regard to my finances, how much on average I would spend per month in london.. and the ways that I navigate saving and budgeting on an average salary. as mentioned in the video, i am by no means a "finance" or even an organised girly, so this one is for those who can relate. i hope you guys enjoy xx

London is impossible nowadays... everything it's too much...too much expensive, too much noisy, too much traffic...I think there is no more quality in living in London

I applied and was offered an amazing job in london. However I turned it down due to that I feelt financially it wasn’t the right time for me. BUT it was my dream job… I truly hope that the cost of living there willgo down a bit because I really want to go there due to work. I am not so much of a social butterfly, or love going out so that is not what is alluring, but as a saving scandinavian I just cannot live in a city wheres there is no possibility for saving for the future. And why I say it like that is due to that my dream job is within the hospital, so it is not that good of a pay. However it is better than the general. But currently living in oslo, with an okay salary, it is an expensive city also to live in. But to move to london with even higher expenses but with a similair salary? No.. which is so sad🥺
I'm so sorry to hear your story, it feels bad of me to say but it seems to common now too.. for people to just have to avoid even soaking up all the amazing opportunities in London because of the impossible cost of living. I can imagine how difficult it would have been for you especially within healthcare. who knows, maybe things will change! but I'm always the biggest advocate for saying that everything happens for a reason, and I think it means that there is a much better suited opportunity right around the corner for you.
