And trust me, the wife LOVED this recipe!
These look so delicious, I have never heard of Cherry ripe slice here in U.S. but I've always been in love with chocolate covered cherries, I have to make this!
Never been a fan of Cherry Ripes but I must say I think you did a great job of recreating them. : )
I live in the US and my Aussie friend sent me some and OMG they are sooooooooooooooooo good. They remind me of our Mounds candy bar except without the cherry. She is sending me more but since shipping is sooooooo much, I am going to try and make some, thanks for the video, I think you are the only one who has made a video on how to make them. :)
Thanks :)
You will find that apart from the size, this recipes tastes exactly like cheery ripes :)
Just added it to my list. Just can't promise how long until its up, its a big list. But i will get to it :)
sure is! :)
Thanks mate!
Yes :)
Sweet lord, this looks delicious.
Im probably one of your most active fans! :D
They are in the works as I'm also on a diet. With the low fat recipes I'm doing I'm also doing low fat deserts. So they will be out soon.
Thank you :)
You must! :)
I love your slice recipies ;)
I bet the tartness of the cherries works very well with the chocolate.
Sinfully delicious and divine!
Always use unsalted in cooking :)
It does. Dam i taste great
Thank you and also you simply reduce the cooking time by about 5 mins :)
I already have :)
You should make a peanut brittle recipe! Though I'm not sure if you already have.
yeah i really can't think of anything for this one sorry. If you remove the coconut it just isn't a cherry ripe :)
I don't see why not. But you may have to call it a strawberry ripe :P
Hi Todd, love your recipes, because i have a fan forced oven would my heat differ from your heat in your clips? Like is you say 180c would i put my oven lower as i have a fan? or not. Thanks.
no, thank you :)
Gonna try this recipe!! but i'll replace cherries with blueberries :)
hm :/ Is there a substitute for the coconut ....maybe hazelnut or almonds? or does it only work with coconut ?
Can u do a carrot cake with Carmel topping, please?
would it work as well with strawberries or other berries???
You could probably add some red food colouring to the coconut for a more 'cherry' look.
Nice recipe though :)
I'd put red food dye in the cherry mixture
i didnt eat coconut. so what can be used to substitute them?
Not if you want it to be a cheery ripe.
This is a coconut recipe only sorry, thats what a cherry ripe is :)
Any alternatives for coconut?
hahahahaha yeah! :)
Hey Todd Salt or Unsalted Butter?
alrighty thanks :D
Can I replace those biscuits with oreos
"if you don't have self raising flour, just put a teaspoon of baking powder" 0:58 ... I think you mean add plain flour and then add a teaspoon of baking powder x) Not just the bakin powder..
