    David, I MUST say, I LOVE the look on your face and then your description of whatever food you eat!!!! I LOVE watching your channel.
    Side not, I saw a short video you made saying you had a tumor on or near your bladder. I was just wondering how you are doing now??? Do not want to pry and ask about cancerous or not and such, just how are you doing now!!!!!

    • @OnePotChefShow
      @OnePotChefShow  7 років тому +2

      +Stephenrsm7600 Long story short, the tumour turned out to be my badly diseased (and until then undiagnosed) lower bowel pressed up against my bladder and causing it serious damage. I had surgery which repaired the damage and saved my life. Took a long time to bounce back, but I'm doing well :)

      zouljiin A Cherry Ripe is an iconic Australian chocolate bar, cherry and coconut covered in dark chocolate. It was originally made by Mc Robertson’s Chocolate company in Australia but they sold out to Cadbury who were smart enough to keep producing this popular bar. You might be able to buy Cherry Ripes at an import store.

    David, I really don't care for those kind of cherries. this dish looks really, really, yummy and I am wondering if you have any ideas on any other type cherries you can use instead of those? we don't have ripe cherries right now so that is out of the question for a few months. I would like to make this but need another type cherry.

    just made this. found it very hard to mix the coconut mixture, mine was much thicker than that. also i think you would be better adding colouring to coconut first. also there are varying sizes of trays, i used one too small i think.

    Hi Onepotchefshow, sorry to ask a question on this video, but with regards to the Coffee Ice Cream method - everytime I make it, I am using 60ml, 45ml and 30ml of coffee mixture (it is not instant, fresh coffee), all are of the same flavour, I reduce the water content by swirling over a stove (so it evaporates). However, ALL of them become quite hard (like very old icecream) when frozen!
    The first time I did it I didn't even whip it properly and so it became an iceblock.
    What should I do to make it a softer ice-cream? Should there be more water content (well.. conc coffee liquid)? I thought more water content would mean that it would be have more ice-crystals throughout the icecream and hence become harder. Should I be increasing rather than decreasing the water content?
