David, I MUST say, I LOVE the look on your face and then your description of whatever food you eat!!!! I LOVE watching your channel.
Side not, I saw a short video you made saying you had a tumor on or near your bladder. I was just wondering how you are doing now??? Do not want to pry and ask about cancerous or not and such, just how are you doing now!!!!!
+Stephenrsm7600 Long story short, the tumour turned out to be my badly diseased (and until then undiagnosed) lower bowel pressed up against my bladder and causing it serious damage. I had surgery which repaired the damage and saved my life. Took a long time to bounce back, but I'm doing well :)
looks yummy
That looks really yummy! The coconut, the chocolate and the cherries together makes a great treat! Even for dessert! Thanks for the video! :D

zouljiin A Cherry Ripe is an iconic Australian chocolate bar, cherry and coconut covered in dark chocolate. It was originally made by Mc Robertson’s Chocolate company in Australia but they sold out to Cadbury who were smart enough to keep producing this popular bar. You might be able to buy Cherry Ripes at an import store.
YUM!! That looks awesomely devine! :)

Thst looks better than it should!😍
David, I really don't care for those kind of cherries. this dish looks really, really, yummy and I am wondering if you have any ideas on any other type cherries you can use instead of those? we don't have ripe cherries right now so that is out of the question for a few months. I would like to make this but need another type cherry.
try canned cherries
Hello, I made this delicious slice last week. But my biscuit base did not stick to the coconut mixture. Any ideas???
WOW!!!!!
oh my gosh you are so funny did you say..."i think i need to be alone for a while"? haha
yum
sweet
Looks so good! When is the next coffee time? I hope you're still doing them. Hope your summer isn't too bad. here in Texas it is freezing rain.
Coffee Time is returning soon. I was planning on filming a new episode this week, but a few real life things got in the way. Hopefully it should be up next week ;)
Hi there, is there any reason as to why you used white chocolate and not copha? Does it make a nicer slice?
This looks awesome! What biscuits did you use?
Actually, I'm wondering the same thing!
just made this. found it very hard to mix the coconut mixture, mine was much thicker than that. also i think you would be better adding colouring to coconut first. also there are varying sizes of trays, i used one too small i think.
I love your video :-)
Hi Onepotchefshow, sorry to ask a question on this video, but with regards to the Coffee Ice Cream method - everytime I make it, I am using 60ml, 45ml and 30ml of coffee mixture (it is not instant, fresh coffee), all are of the same flavour, I reduce the water content by swirling over a stove (so it evaporates). However, ALL of them become quite hard (like very old icecream) when frozen!
The first time I did it I didn't even whip it properly and so it became an iceblock.
What should I do to make it a softer ice-cream? Should there be more water content (well.. conc coffee liquid)? I thought more water content would mean that it would be have more ice-crystals throughout the icecream and hence become harder. Should I be increasing rather than decreasing the water content?
please do some violet crumble/crunchie recipes
Love your videos:)
Diabetes in a slice!! LOVE IT :P
Why oh why are Cherry Ripe bars not sold in the USA?! I am so making this recipe!!
It's not good you guys... Its gorgeous c;
Is the cherry/coconut filling stiff enough to roll into balls and dip in chocolates to make cherry ripe truffles?
Did you decide to comb your hair David and put gel or did you just wet it
Mmmmmmm
Hey Mr One Pot! I'm in Thailand..not plain chocolate cookies here...can i substitute with marie biscuits for base? Also, the Glaced cherries here are watery and yuck... maraschino better I think? Are you Adelaidian?
They look good might make some for my nanny in saturday but how do you make the cupcake iceing? And i follow ur fb page ;) good vid man
Did you eat the whole pan? I would've 😋
Actually, I still have some in the fridge. I've giving out to friends when they visit :D
Could do a Fru-choc slice!
Laughing Man I’m not sure where in Australia, David lives. Not many people outside of South Australia know what a Fru Choc is. Menz make Cherry Chocs now, covered in dark chocolate.
@@suej9329 kill me 😮😋 omg
Iys called ruffle in tge uk
Looks so yummy! How do you cut the slice without cracking the chocolate?
If you do it carefully and slowly with a serrated knife - but I'm usually too impatient! :D
OnePotChefShow looks so good! would a hot knife help (re the cutting without cracking chocky) > ?
Yes, a hot knife would also be helpful ;)
So I'm not sure what glazed cherries are. Are they the same as candied cherries? Like U would find with the candied fruit you'd use in a fruitcake?
Donna Caron yep they are :)
this recipe looks really nice but i don't like coconut. Any suggestions what I could replace it with? thanks
jude hutchinson You could try some ground nuts (i.e. almond meal, ground macadamias).
What about raspberry
It makes abiut how many bars?
Im allergic to coconut....anything i can substitute with?
Oh my god... Ohhhhhhh my god. I can only find maraschino cherries, could I use that for a substitute?
That would be perfect ;)
Would you be able to swap cherrys for another fruit??? ;)
Makeup by Annabel Absolutely! Apricot would be good ;)
Naughty..but looks so nice.
Hey. I hope you see this. I'm from Sweden and have been following you for about a year now! Can you upload some healthy chocolate-cookies recipes.
Some nice sweet cakes, I like chocolate VERY much, but it's very unhealthy.
I'd really appreciate it! (Sorry for my English grammar)
Just replace cookies base with:1cup soaked nuts almonds or walnuts,1 cup cashews,3/4 cup raw cacao powder or any other unsweetened ,1 cup chopped dates,1/8 teaspoon sea salt,1/4 cup maple syrup or agave nectar.
Raw Creamy Fudge Frosting
1/4 cup raw cocao powder any other unsweetened
2 ripe avocados
3/4 cup agave nectar
3 tablespoons coconut oil
1 tablespoon vanilla
dash sea salt
Can you convert the measurements to cups or tbspn whenever possible?
There is a link to my Facebook Page in the description. The page has a free Measurement Conversion Chart that you can download from the "Photos" section ;)
You are very nice to look at ;-) beautiful blue eyes.
i personally might not like this( i honestly never had sweet tooth ) but im sure my, My aunts would ^^ so i will make next time i see them.
Hi there is anything I can do to make a 2nd lachy and salah78
Do u not know cups and ozs?
mmmmmmmmm
What if u don't like coconut what could i use for a substitue?
Coconut is kind of an essential ingredient in this recipe, there really isn't a substitute ;)
I know there's alcohol in Cherry Ripes because my L plate daughter was told not to eat them and drive..does anyone know what sort of alcohol is added to Cherry Ripes?
I looked it up on Google and found a question on the Cadbury Dairy Milk Facebook page. the Cadbury representative replied : "Hi, Cherry Ripes do not contain alcohol."
😍😍😍😍😍😍
i don't like coconut what could i substitute it for?
I'm afraid coconut is an integral part of this recipe ;)
