I think this scene might of been responsible for the decline in ratings it was very much laughed at back in the day, but it’s remained one of the most iconic scenes in Neighbours history
Lol. Actually I just saw a really weird scene on Prisoner Cell Block H which Neighbours actually had a close relationship with, (although I didn't realise that until very recently).
One of the moments this show will never live down along with The Lim Family, Hannah's Jinxed Rock, Mark Gottlieb the Priest and Ringo crashing into an Inflatable rabbit.
It's a pity no enterprising entertainment journalist has ever thought to find out how such a bonkers "iconic" moment came about. It actually had nothing to do with the writers, who had way more sense.
@@kentallard8852 I happen to know that the opposite is true. The writers tried to stop it. It was done at the insistence of two senior executives, who had the idea over a boozy lunch.
@@ozvoyager Really? That's interesting. Prisoner Cell Block H also featured a few surreal scenes as well, and that show was strongly connected to this one.
Please let the end of Neighbours be a reveal that the entirity of the show was in fact Bouncer's dream 😂
So the dream sequence in this clip would be a dog's dream within a dog's dream? I wonder how far these canine inception levels go.
@@kolaxanthe too far , that’s a rabbit hole you don’t want to go down
For YEARS I wasn't sure if I'd hallucinated this
I don't want to watch the video because I experienced Bouncer's dream whilst on shrooms. Reality is more mundane.
Yeah what a trip…..
Just look at Bouncers eyes. He is gorgeous. Great clip. So precious that I shed a tear. Neighbors forever!
Best scene Neighbours ever did. Bouncer was the true star of the show and received more fan mail than any of the cast!
Bouncer was the best actor on the show
Bouncer was the best dog on television. Fact!
Don't let Well'ard hear you say that !
Bouncer the best actor by miles in the show.
I think this scene might of been responsible for the decline in ratings it was very much laughed at back in the day, but it’s remained one of the most iconic scenes in Neighbours history
Considering it went on to around nearly 9000 episodes the define in ratings didn't hit it hard hahah
Iconic.
It makes me feel nostalgic for my own childhood days, even though this came out in 1990 and I was born 1996.
I love neighbours 💞💞
I remember my dad coming in from work and asking what the fuck am I watching? I said its a dogs dream ..he shook his head and went to the pub
We had the same dad by the sounds 😂😂
I told someone today about this episode and they didn't believe a word of it 😆 😂 😅 🤣
The legend. The finale should have bought him back. No justice.
i bet the writers had too much to drink 😂😂😂 and bouncer the dog is so cool ❤🐕
I don't think it was alcohol in their tea somehow...
So much better than the twin peaks red room dream sequence!
Lol. Actually I just saw a really weird scene on Prisoner Cell Block H which Neighbours actually had a close relationship with, (although I didn't realise that until very recently).
Neighbours should end with everything just being a dream of Bouncer's & nothing ever existed
With the anniversary year upon us I think they need to put in another crazy scene like this. Only neighbours!! ❤️🐶❤️
That’s just adorable ❤️
Whatever the writers were on, I want some
I can remember a few scenes like this over the years. They copied the surreal ideas from Prisoner Cell Block H, which I'm watching at the moment.
I'm here after hearing Josh Widdicombe mention it on Graham Norton.
More iconic and preferable than Pam Ewing's dream on Dallas. Shorter, more entertaining and better acted by a dog.
One of the moments this show will never live down along with The Lim Family, Hannah's Jinxed Rock, Mark Gottlieb the Priest and Ringo crashing into an Inflatable rabbit.
Where is Dipi and Shane’s dog, Clancy ?? Does the dog live outside
Someone please tell me how I can watch neighbours from 2009 , I can't find to buy it anywhere! 😢
Why 2009? This clip is from 1989 or 1990 I think. I remember watching it the time when I was about 10 years old.
Dogs do dream. Just ask Bunny the talking dog.
What were the writers on when they dreamed up that dream sequence? Such a cute scene. Why is it repeated though?
It's a pity no enterprising entertainment journalist has ever thought to find out how such a bonkers "iconic" moment came about. It actually had nothing to do with the writers, who had way more sense.
this sort of thing happens when writers are board and taking the piss with material they don't like

2 dogs?
Was this after he ate those mushrooms?
This is from about 1989 or 1990 I'd guess?
July 1990 (Australia); September 1991 (UK)
Have I just popped a pill 💊, I'm off my head now...
Mark Little is a terrible actor
