it's daylight at the latest in Scotland at 8.30AM and 3.30 - 4pm at evening in winter so you might for a week or two only get only 7 - 7 1/2 hours daylight in a day and daylight at 4am in the summer and dark between 10 -12pm and 4 to 6 hours darkness during the summer ... that's why most houses have blinds on their windows
Yep, and I recommend Blackout blinds for the summer anyway. It keeps the sun out, so keeps your dwelling cool and in the winter, they are really effective for keeping warmth in :) I took my wee one to school this morning for brekkie club. It was still dark at 8:15am. I think the further north you go, the later it is in getting light in the morning in winter and dark in the evening in summer. I could be totally wrong on that one though. Happy to be corrected :)
The Glasgow Walk doon tae a tee lol. Burglars hate the winter months, they need to do 16hrs shifts cause that's how long it stays dark! In the summer they only work 4hrs as it's light for 20hrs. TRUE ☺

Welcome to Scotland Hao. What does your name mean? I know that the Panda's here in Scotland have name meanings - Tian Tian (Sweetie) Yang Guang (Sunshine) You summed up Scotland's seasons with the light and dark times, only it's slightly earlier - not 9am still dark. I hope you enjoy or have enjoyed your stay here whether you are still here or away back home.

It's funny about the daylight, but inaccurate. You forgot to add that there are wolves wandering the streets in the dark winter hours.

This must be some kind of joke. Don't tell me these wolves can change to human being like fiction stories
