Building A Superlight Supercar! Automation - BeamNG

- Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and many more car companies build some of the fastest, most expensive and insane looking cars known to man.
BUT.. Not many of them have no roof, no traction control and no radio.
Today i build my own superlight supercar, powered by a 3L 10000RPM V10 engine and see if it can compete against the best...
It weighs 1300lbs, is RWD and has a sequential transmission..
Did I mention it revs to 10000rpm? Well ill mention it again.
Go watch my other fully custom cars!

So if this comment gets 250 likes I will dress as a catgirl maid in my next stream.
Nice
dew it
shid and fard
Ok
Not this bullshit again rye.
@462 Designs Based😻
The fact you use km/h and lbs simultaneously gives me an aneurysm
10/10
I use mph and kg too! Just like to mix it up :P
Thats how Canadians do it.
@@chevtothemax don’t be silly, Canadians aren’t real!
@@chevtothemaxCan confirm as a Canadian, we like to mix up our measurements together
Sequential transmissions still have a clutch for when you launch/ start from a stop
Thank you !!!
could you put a torque converter on a seq. and have no clutch
@@inniyewtesfaw2003 it would be a waist, but you could if you had a system that can pretty much h operate stand-alone
12:37 Just an editing suggestion, not sure if it'll sound good or not. But instead of using the slider for engine sound, use the sound from the test track. We'll hear the way the car change gears, how it brakes, etc.
But if that's not what you're after, it's okay. ^^
Huh ive never thought of using test track sounds. I will check that out for my next one.
I really appreciate the suggestion bud!
The skills you have in designing cars like this are beyond words. Wow.
Eh thanks bud :)
I really appreciate it
24:19 "almost 1600 pounds, whats that in kg?"(continues to calculate)
Kg gauge right besides the pound gauge: am i a joke to you?
Shhhhh! I'm blind
Sequentials use a clutch pedal to shift into 1st pretty sure
Yeah I thought so
WEW shoutouts XD
also sequentials have clutches, for being stopped etc
fyi scales have kg right next to the lb...... but also the scales are inaccurate, I use the wheel weight widget thing
all in all, that's an amazingly fast little car! and it looks so good..... in automation XD
@Venz Motors oh hi mark
The name is really nice, Saltator is a genus of neotropical birds and the name is from the Latin _Saltitoris_ which, as you said at around the 16:50 minute mark, means "Dancer". Most birds in the genus are referred to as Saltator, such as the Buff-Throated Saltator which was the first of the genus named by Louis Pierre Vieillot in 1816. Saltators are usually small and streamlined birds and are a member of the Thraupidae family, otherwise called Tanagers, and from what little I could find, the Scarlet Tanager can fly between 37 to 50 mph, so that sounds like a good range for the Tanager family and thus the Saltator genus. So unlike the White-Throated Needletail which can reach 105 mph in level flight, a bird akin to the Hennessey Venom, or the Peregrine Falcon whose 200 mph dive speed is akin to the Speed Demon 715's nearly 470 mph record, the Saltator 313 here is like the Scarlet Tanger in that its top speed may be limited to 166 mph but its capable of darting around with significant ease due to its low weight and slim form.
Its like you're a natural at choosing car names XD
You may have chosen Saltator because its Latin form means Dancer, but even the avian relationship behind the name works for the car, its like intuition from what I've seen.
Oh dam now the name makes even more sense eh
I dont think im a pro at choosing names, Just googling random words until something sticks!
Imagine getting rear ended
You would need to have balls of steel to daily drive that thing eh!
How do you make to remove the chasis in beamng?
If your ever struggling to hide a body with reverse dog tape, you can just do the same thing you do to hide the chassis but with the line right above it
Correct me if I'm wrong but, a lot of race cars w/ sequential boxes do use a clutch, but only for taking off in 1st gear. But I'm sure theres clutchless sequentials
Huh I guess ive learnt something new today!
F1 cars have a paddle shift 2-piece clutch that they use to launch, the driver releases the first stage of the clutch so the car launches without wheelspin then the driver launches the second piece after the car is stabilized in order to release full power to the wheels
1:54 Internals :) btw lovin these automation beamNG videos!
My video "Many fixes for broken Automation Exports in BeamNG" could potentially fix the problem with fixtures falling off and the deformation of the rear, look for section 5.5
He’s so proud of his hood line, that he forgot he put hinges on both sides of the hood...
uhhhh
UHHHH DON'T LOOK AT IT LOOK AT THE HOOD LINE ITS BEAUTIFUL..
Darn I knew I forgot something!
Still a great build as always 👍🏼
@@TwinTurBros it’s ok, we can imagine they’re latches instead. You can just unlatch the hood and take it off instead, makes the engine much more accessible 😉
24:22 Thanks for converting lbs to kg. The Beam scale might get it wrong, you never know.
Jk. Nice design!
I noticed you always use super low compression on NA cars. 10:1 is turbo low. That beast should be at 12:1 or 12.5:1.
Can we get a whoop whoop for my aussie boy fillman86
Can you build a max preformance track van
Great design but Sequential still uses a clutch for first gear and then is usually just a no lift shift tune so they don't have to hit the clutch so you had it right the first time lol
It kinda looks like a donkvort . Keep up the excellent work
At this point, make a UA-cam series about making a car company IRL
I do plan on play the campaign of automation XD
If that counts!
Rye you are a madman
the madest Canadian who lived!
Can you make a challenge of Who make the best 50's concept car with filmaker and some of theses gamers who i dont remember the name ?
Soo you've just made an Even better Lotus?
Vid Idea: make a fiat doblo, 1.6 turbodisel four banger, fwd, and shit ton of power from turbo
I like the amount of British cars in the beginning 🇬🇧😁
The British make the coolest cars ever! Not many of them in Canada tho!
I love everything about that car besides the rear end, I wish it was longer
19:20 that's bri'ish build quality for ya
Some car company in the future would make this a real car
Very Nice build, one of the best you've ever done
Thanks bud :)
The hardest part was deleting the old car lol
You are so good
Video suggestion. Build a trophy truck, basically a off road supercar, in automation :)
It is on my todo list bud :D
@@TwinTurBros thanks bro. I’m loving the videos :)
Why did you even Up the fuel ratio? And the timting gives really deminishing returns above like 60-70ish, try more compression for high Performance NA cars
Just wanted to hit exactly 420hp
XD
Damn Caterham
Caterham but with a V10!
@@TwinTurBros you built a F1 v10, check it out
Sequential gearboxes need Clutch pedals
21:10 this what!
Sequentials need a clutch when you start them lol
Actually, only the Ariel Atom 500 has a V8, the base model has a supercharged inline 4 and the Mugen has a V6.
use the "relative" camera mode to put the camm where u want it relative to the car
Loved this car, simply awesome
This is really cool! You work really hard on your videos. I look forward to seeing more of them!
Don’t sequentials need a clutch to get into first gear?
ShhhHHh
I may or may not have forgotten :P
Plz make more automation every weeek I am I love
The one car I built that could do 0-100 in 2 seconds, it was a death trap that hit 200 in like 5-6 seconds understear (it had no downforce tuning) hits like a brick, you brake but nothing happens as you are going 200 so it just understear more and you go off a cliff.
do you have collection of modpacks in steamworkshop?
something like interior, gaspedals, shifter knob, steering wheel, etc.
this reminds me of Caterham
i would drive that
420 horsepower nice
nice.
I think that it is better without fenders
I like how 3+1+3=7 so let's just pretend it's a throwback to the Lotus 7
Sequential should have a clutch
Morgan plus 2 🙃
I can’t believe I’m cheating on automotiveflux 😂
Great vid
Naaah its not cheating. He makes awesome stuff too :P
we need to collab lmao
When I first read the name before u said it I thought it said salty tater 313 lol
Gearstick should be on the left if its british
why do you limit the speed? 265 km/h it's not enough
Approved by Colin Chapman.
Caterham: Kay-ter-um. :)
2020 got so outta hand you gotta build a 1960s car and call it a 2020 car
Why is it always British companies that make these dort of cars?
Cuz you can build them in a shed
Also because of the amount of tiny back roads too I would guess
How do you hide the chassis
Build a racing gokart please
it will be coming in the next few builds :)
@@TwinTurBros yay
so basicly you made a utv with a v8 or an tracmania nations forever car
Why not use lockers???
LOL @ 420 HP like Audi RS4. 😂
Make a Porsche boxer engine car competitor
OH MY GAWD WHERE'S THE TACHOMETRE
I can't seem to find negatape on the steamworkshop, can someone link me it?
steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1868372326
try this!
@@TwinTurBros thank you so much!!
race against the f1 car plz
omg they need to fix those pieces on the ground wtf
Sadly I couldn't really hide them, you can only do so much with customer fixtures!
Note to self. Never buy from this british company lol
PPPffft id drive it XD
How are you copying and paste the fixtures over and over again?
So you're just pouring gas on your feet?
Caterham
Make a V8 rally car plz
It's a lawnmower.
a very fast lawn mower ;)
24:24 you miss the kg rating on the other side of the scale.
chaterham 7
*literally builds a car identical to a donkervoort*
examples: not a donkervoort
okay, it's not that similar but the front really reminded me of one
anyways, very 'donkervoortery' vibes
I have been more Inspired to do something with my life.
Stop sticking v8’s in everything!!!
V8s = Cool
