Great hunt. The death moan kind of gets me but also leads me to respect the wilderness and animals even more.

Just the local feed store. Bears respond well to oats, or corn. Trailmix is king if you can find it and are willing to pay for it.

I find it so odd that the bears can actually see color, and in these vids they stare you in the face and still they go on to eat at the blue bins. You’d think by now they’d figure out that they’re traps.
Just Saying, Bears in some ways are like pigs, They cannot turn down food they Like, Even though they know it is dangerous, They will go after watermelon time and time again. Also another comment this is a much better video, Than I seen before, Thanks for suggesting it.

Hey , great video, I’m not really hunter, just curious, it looked like you were feeding them for few days before you got one, why is that? When you had the 3 or 4 bears hanging out and eating, why wouldn’t you just pick one and hit it?

I shot two in Alberta this past spring one was 183/4 the second was 22 1/2 big brute both with bow

Luring animals with food and killing them dad is cruel
Think about how many smaller animals get spared a mauling and killing. That alone justifies killing Bear not to mention the amount of Meat available.
Good vid except for the staged ending.
All of this footage besides the trailer shot was self-filmed, so some stuff had to be staged like me driving to my spot, and also walking up to the bear.

A disgusting and unethical shot !!! Looks to me like you hit him in the liver/gut area. And he moaned to his death... Your arrow should have been 2 feet forward. You picked the right time, when his left shoulder was slightly turned away. It would have made an on-the-spot kill if you had hit just behind his left shoulder. Not a good look. From a totally unimpressed Aussie.
