Functional Performance Upgrade. The BMR IRS bushing lockout kit is for 2015-2017 Ford Mustangs. The kit is designed to address wheel hop issues that are common with vehicles that have Independent Rear Suspension (IRS). The S550 is know for wheel hop, bushing deflection and cradle movement and the BMR system is used to counter all off those issues and keep the cradle centered for optimal performance. The cradle is an important component that interacts with several key parts that affect handling. Maintaining it properly centered is important for consistent and dependable handling. The factory uses soft bushings to keep the cradle centered, in order to combat noise vibration and harshness, these soft bushings allow the cradle to move, which leads to the wheel hop and disturbance in overall suspension geometry. Finally, it’s important to note that the BMR system is made in America, ensuring great quality and durability.
Simple Construction. The BMR IRS cradle braces are constructed from 1-5/8-inch diameter heavy duty DOM steel tubing. The lockout braces are finished in a durable black hammer-tone powder coat finish for great durability and corrosion resistance. It’s important to note however, that the system isn’t designed to work with convertible models.
Bolt-On Installation. The installation is straightforward and doesn’t require any cutting or modification to the Mustang. The BMR IRS system is designed to be a direct bolt-on installation, utilizing the factory mounting. It’s important to note that a professional shop should do an alignment after installation and the overall install can be completed within 2-hours with basic hand tools.

My kit didn’t come with the lower support washers for the front. Will the kit be fine installing without using those lower bushing washers?
With this kit you don’t need BMR Differential Bushing Lockout Kit?
so only two brackets even though there is four corners? can you or do you need all four corners supported? does this kit lower the cradle at all and if so how does that effect the pinion angle and suspension geometry?
Awesome kit! Little brother bought this for my birthday. Took us two hours at our shop to install and we took our time. Take off and corners feel much more solid. In my opinion, this should be one of your first mods. What's the point of adding horse power if your tires are bouncing around at stock hp.
A tip : you can watch movies on InstaFlixxer. I've been using it for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.

Is there a kit for convertibles? I hate how convertibles aren't taken into consideration when developing products. Like most exhausts.
jodl73 yes. The part number is CB010.
Easily the best mod I've made on my S550. The install was cake and it eliminated much of the wheel hop by itself. Add BMR vertical links and you'll see nearly all wheel hop gone. Ride quality difference is zero. NVH difference is zero. BMR all the way.

any hope for an install video?
Basically watch a spring install. The stamped piece of metal that goes from the body to the cradle is replaced by these. The cups are self explanatory in the directions. When we installed springs it took MAYBE five more minutes to do CB005's. So worth it! Makes the rear end and the car feel like one piece instead of the floaty disconnected feeling stock.
