  • In This Video I Install BMR Polyurethane Differential Bushing Lockout Kit BK051 For 2015-19 Ford Mustang S550.
    Bushing Lockout Kit
    Precision Molded from 95-Durometer Polyurethane
    Absorbs NVH and Improves Throttle and Traction
    Installs Over Factory Differential Bushings
    Designed and Made in the USA
    Non-Permanent Modification
    Fits 2015-2020 Ford Mustang Models
    Drastically Decreases Differential Movement and NVH. Eliminating NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) or improving performance - your mustang's stock rubber bushings might make you choose between the two. But with the BMR Polyurethane Differential Bushing Lockout Kit, you can have the best of both worlds. It's designed to limit NVH and lessen differential movement and pinion rise, improving your mustang's handling and rear stability.
    Precision-Molded for an Exact, Perfect Fit. Unlike OE bushings that are made of soft rubber, the differential lockout bushing kit from BMR is made of 95-durometer polyurethane. The material has been precision-molded to exact tolerances, completely filling the space between the bolt and bushing cup and eliminating air pockets or voids that cause excessive differential movement. This reduces wheel hop and improves your mustang's handling stability and performance in any driving condition.
    A Convenient Solution That's Designed and Made in the USA. This differential bushing lockout kit from BMR is a non-permanent modification that installs over your mustang's factory differential bushing - a convenient solution for NVH issues and bushing-deflection. This item has been designed and developed in the USA, ensuring its reliability and durability for both normal and performance driving.
    Application. This BMR Polyurethane Differential Bushing Lockout Kit is designed to fit all 2015-2019 Mustangs including V6, EcoBoost, GT and GT350 models.
    Fitment: 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 Details

    Hello, I recently installed the bmr hardware upgrade kit and I'm having a huge clunk on my rear end. Everytime I shift it to 1st to 2nd or third. It's definitely annoying but what do you recommend? Should I upgrade it to the polyurethane kit or aluminum?

      Was that before or after the bmr bushings.

      @@Beacon_Offroad hello, it was after the install. I installed the RH017 btw and I thought I broke the diff. Ford even changed the whole diff assembly and the clunk is still in there. I’m assuming it was the diff. Hardware kit and was wondering if the ones you installed will help the NVH gone or the Bushing kit Aluminum will even do better.

      @@HoosierDaddy94 I definitely wouldn't use aluminum, they will increase nvh forsure.

    Just got this kit today and the inserts for the bushings are a lot bigger. 😳 There is a lot less bushing. Hope they didn’t send me the wrong kit. It says BK051. Maybe a recent revision? No clue.

      Hmm, not really sure. I guess just check with Bmr to be sure.

    Any clunking noise with the bushings? I am hearing clunking noise going over bumps

      Nothing what so ever. Plus your not really changing anything. Just adding bushings onto the existing stock ones. Cant see how it could clunk unless the bolts all came loose.

      Probably something else. It is driving me nuts.

    Hey what happened to the rest of the BMR IRS parts you had on the table? I thought you were gonna do another video to show the install on those parts too.

Its a bit wintery here so the not too much mustang stuff for a bit. Gonna do a bit of truck stuff but the car is coming. Thanks for the subscribe.

    Does it matter which way the red bushings are facing?

    • @Beacon_Offroad
      @Beacon_Offroad  3 роки тому +1

      Yes and no. Probably won't make any difference but I would install them with the stepped side facing in and flat side out.

      @@Beacon_Offroad Yup you’re right. Friend was installing them and did 2 one way and 2 another way definitely has a difference.

    Have you noticed any noticeable increase in NOISE from tightening up the rear diff?

      Hard to say as I've done many mods. But in reality not very much. Definitely streetable.

      Old post but hell yes there is increased NVH especially if you have a manual and torsen dif. A lot of clunking sounds when in lower gears and lightly getting on or off throttle. It doesn’t bother me because I know there’s nothing wrong and noise is the price you pay for a stiff car. Just turn up my music or get on it.

    • @Beacon_Offroad
      @Beacon_Offroad  3 роки тому

      I'll be honest my car never really wheel hopped anyways. After all the suspension and power mods it would sometimes get very minor hop.

    Some of these have been having bolts break on the rear of the differential.

      Must be trying to just kill the customers before they can let everyone know how noisy this kit will make their car.
