- The events surrounding the return of Christ can be captivating for Christians. Plenty of popular teaching outlines the timing of what’s to come, including a rapture of believers, unbelievers left behind, tribulations, and more.
While these end times events come from pictures and symbols found in the New Testament and the book of Revelation, we should be cautious about translating imagery into a literal sequence of events that we can follow with certainty.
As I share with a recent caller, despite the mystery around how future events will unfold, the return of Christ and a final judgment are both literal and actual events we can eagerly await.

A "catching up" and Christ returning to earth sound like separate events to me. Lots of little tidbits throughout scripture that tie together give us a lot of food for thought.

I totally agree with you about the Grace message but when you talk about Tribulation Matt24:21 says Tribulation worse than anything ever seen before.
Thats correct brother. Trib will be worse. Probly better to listen to someone else like Andy Woods in Texas.
Why did Paul write 2 Thessalonians 2?

Because they thought they missed the rapture.
Scripture is crystal clear, and yes the words "Harpazo" and "rapturo" (ie., rapture) are in the Bible.
Apart from that you are saying His children are destined to experience His wrath. That He would unleash that wrath on His Son again (as His Spirit is in us). Striking the rock a "second" time like Moses did.

"Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown." (Revelation 3:10-11)
"Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads." (Revelation 4:4)
For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand." (Daniel 12:4, 9-10)
"Waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ," (Titus 2:13)
The Bible is full of timelines, old and new Testament. 2000 years ago the Christians didn't have the book of Revelation, Written A.D. 95. They didn't even know about the grace age (body of Christ ) until Paul started teaching it to the Gentiles. Think you missed this one.

Paul absolutely taught the rapture to the Thessalonians (1 Thessalonians 4 and 5) and the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 15). In fact, that's why he wrote 2 Thessalonians 2, because they had thought they missed it!
Scripture is clear, but for those who don't want to be a Berean and study it, it's easier for them to just poo poo others that understand what it states.

The Bible does indeed explain when the church will be caught up (the eord "rapturo" which means this IS in the Bible) and gives a play by play of what will happen leading b up to and after that. You can't just read the Book of Revelation, you must study the entire Bible because Daniel, 1 Thessalonians and others contain information.
Believer’s need to leave literature around their home for non believer’s to be given a second chance

Whats it mean on the passage two working in the field, one will be taken the other one left?
Hi John, Steve here. This event happens at the end of the tribulation and involves Jewish and Gentile survivors. Not the Bride, as they have been raptured more than 7 yrs earlier. The one taken, is taken into judgement, = bad, The one left is left to enter the Millennial Kingdom. AS In the Flood, THE ONES Taken are the unbelievers. Ones left = INTO PROTECTION of the Ark. I live in Australia and dont follow this man or his teaching.
End of what time? This age and the age to come. Two ages. The age the New Testament disciples lived in was the last days of the old heavens and earth. 70ad. We live in the new heavens and earth, the new age and Jesus came back to that generation like he said. In the old covenant, YHWH came on the clouds several times. Jesus came on the clouds in 70ad to judge them that killed the prophets, just like he said he would. Some standing there were still alive when it happened.

What meaning do you see in "coming on the clouds" and how did you arrive at that? A couple of bible verses using YHWH coming on the clouds or in the clouds from the Old Testament would be useful. Thanks.@@stevegoode1504
No man knows the end of times not in Jesus, only the father that's scripture.
Your other dilemma is you are ignoring Israel my friend, as that's what the 70th week of Daniel/the week of Jacob's trouble is all about.
May be time to brush up on Daniel.

I think the dilemma is the false teaching that the last week of Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy was not completed in Christ. The historical church believed that it was complete for 1800 years until a new doctrine required that Israel is seperate from Christs church
@@CoolShooters Why did Paul write 2 Thessalonians 2? Was Israel's re-establishment in 1948 not prophetic (Ezekiel 36:24-26, Ezekiel 37:6-14, Zechariah 12:10/13:1/14:3, Jeremiah 16:15-16)? Why isn't the "C"hurch mentioned in Revelation after chapter 4? Why does God send 144,000 evangelists and 2 witnesseses to proclaim the Gospel to the world if the "C"hurch is still hear before Christ's second coming (reinforcements 🤷♂️)?

2 Thessalonians 2 is a warning of the coming judgment of Jerusalem. READ A HISTORY BOOK. No the re established Israel is not prophetic. That is man trying to force God. We can debate for years over whats not in the bible but I will believe what is written is true. Who are the saints in revelation being martyred after chapter 4?@@MakeRoomForGod

Man, you are terrible on end times teaching! Difficulties that Christians have gone through have nothing to do with Daniel's 70th week. There is a Tribulation coming. Terrible, cringe answer you gave, and left that man shaking his head Im sure.
