@@mynonameyt At first one might come to such a conclusion but if you listen to Andrew for about six months the dots begin to connect. The pool old covered has a purpose scripture teaches but it's for the unrighteous. Believers are not the unrighteous because we received our righteousness or permanent right standing with God as a gift 2 Cor 5:21

I’ve been in God’s light before the first thing I thought was about how God would say something about my sins and I can tell you 100% God physically remembers your sin no more. There wasn’t a breath of condemnation and I knew he didnt remember. I love the real gospel message. Love this guy.

The law is not written on our hearts. We are not under the law. Christ is the end of the law for everyone who believes. We have the law of love written on our hearts. Not the Old Testament laws. Loving God with all our mind heart and strength and loving others and He loves us are the two GREATEST AND MOST IMPOSSIBLE commands. That’s the whole point.
It’s ok sister/brother I didn’t always understand either. So that’s why I want to share with you so you can understand too! And I do not know everything but I do know The truth and what I share is all in the Bible. So you can look up the scriptures I shared and study for yourself 🙂 I can’t give you understanding only God can do that. I hope you read what I wrote here. It’s the truth that sets us free!
✝️The purpose of the law is to show us our sinfulness and to lead us to Jesus.
Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith Galatians 3:24
✝️For Christ is the end of the law for everyone who believes. (Romans 8:24)
✝️The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless (for the law made nothing perfect) and a better hope is introduced by which we draw near to God (Hebrews 7:18-19)
✝️The New Covenant rendered the Old Covenant obsolete
✝️By calling this covenant “new” He has made the first one obsolete and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear (Hebrews 8:13)
✝️We have something “better” a better covenant founded on better promises
✝️But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one since the new covenant is established on better promises. (Hebrews 8:6)
✝️The 613 commands are not written on our heart. It’s something altogether different within us. Jesus gives a new command in John 13:34 to love others as He loves us ♥️ This fulfills the law
✝️And this is His command: to believe in the Name of His Son Jesus Christ, and to love one another as He commanded us (1 John 3:23)
✝️You’re not supervised by Law(Galatians 3:25)
The requirements of the Law have been fully met in us (Romans 8:3-4)
✝️The Law is set aside (Ephesians 2:14-15 Hebrews 7:18)
✝️You don’t serve in the old way of the Law (Romans 7:6)
✝️You serve in the newness and the freedom of the Spirit (Romans 7:6 Galatians 5:13)
✝️You’re dead to the Law (Romans 7:4, 6 Galatians 2:19)
✝️You’re not under the Law (Romans 6:14 Galatians 5:18)
✝️You’re free from the Law (Romans 7:2, 4)
✝️The Law showed Paul what sin was, that sin seized the opportunity through the Law , apart from the Law sin is dead (Romans 7:7-8)
✝️One reason to abandon law based living and celebrating the New Covenant relates to the ancestry of Jesus, His lineage🙂
✝️He of whom these things are said belonged to a different tribe and no one from that tribe has ever served at the altar. For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests (Hebrews 7:13-14)
✝️Jesus came from the tribe of Judah, serving as our High Priest. According to the Law Henis disqualified to serve in that capacity. He has the wrong paperwork, lineage and heritage 😉
✝️Why did God do this?? What is He trying to tell us?? We call upon Jesus from the tribe of Judah to save us. So we can’t call upon Him and then look to the Law to keep you save for grow you. That’s a total contradiction. The Law says Jesus can’t serve as a priest. So what’s the solution?? If you’re changing the priesthood you simply need to be consistent and change the Law too!
✝️For when the priesthood is changed the law must be changed also (Hebrews 7:12)
✝️The lineage of Jesus is a great reason for abandoning the Law and looking to God’s New Covenant of grace. A change of priesthood (from Levi to Judah) requires a change of covenant (from Old to New) A change of priesthood means a change of Law 🙂
So here’s Jesus from the tribe of Judah breaking all the rules and that’s the whole point! A new priest to go with our New Covenant. You don’t put new wine into old wine 🍷 skins (Matthew 9:17)
The Law is good!! But it does not save which I think you already know.
It doesn’t help us grow 🚫🌱
It actually brings about sin.
It brings death ☠️
@@loveoneanother9810. Glenda is quoting Jeremiah 31:33 repeated in Hebrews. If His law is not yet written on our hearts, when will it be “placed in our minds and written on our hearts”? Transgression of Gods law is still very much the definition of sin (1 John). Without the Ten Commandments there is no sin. Jesus said “go and sin no more”. The old covenant that was taken away is the sacrificial system (agreement) as a means of forgiveness. Just a shadow of Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice. An agreement. The Ten Commandments are the foundation. There is nothing wrong with them. We are the problem. The agreement done away with is the ceremonial/sacrificial comment that is completely do done away with. Not gods law.
We keep the commandments as a natural result of faith and love in Jesus. Don’t be mislead. Jesus himself said, “if you love me keep my commandments”. He is not commanding obedience for your salvation, he is VERY CLEARLY verbalizing that obedience is the result of love.

Great sermon this preacher is amazing
I do believe the law and the people, BOTH had fault. “IF” the law was not faulty then there would not be a need for another”. Therefore the law was also faulty as was the people. Faulty law faulty people. The law was for sinful beings, made difficult to uphold, with a penalty they couldn’t pay. God knew that. Therefore the law was purposely made faulty, yet holy because God gave it. Everything God does is holy, because He is Holy.
So it was a holy act to make a faulty covenant. Faulty, because it could not do a complete work; There was no salvation in it; because God using the faultiness of the covenant law wanted Israel to long for relief, Rest, and find complete salvation which was in Christ, who was the only one without fault.
That’s why both the covenant and the people were faulty.
Hebrews 8…god found fault with the people ..you can’t live up to the law . God doesn’t come and go Based on what you do…..the new covenant. Says my face is always towards you…even when you screw up…I remain faithful. Jesus made us perfect before God . Not me …Jesus did it . It was a free gift. I am perfectly clean and perfectly close because of what Jesus did. God says it is not a buffet line , you don’t get to pick no choose what you want from the law …James 2: whoever keeps the whole law and stumbles at one point is guilty of all of it . You can’t do it ! God knows this ! Galatians say if you are under the law , you are cursed. 613 laws…a perfect and impossible standard…I’ll take Jesus plus nothing! Thanks !

Hebrews 7: because Jesus lives forever , he has a permanent priesthood, he can save us completely because he lives to intercede for you!

Hello my sister in Christ, I hope you are doing well. The law tells us about the character of God. His ultimate perfection. We have to be perfect all the times to be in communion with God who is perfect himself eternally infinitely. However as we rebelled against our perfect Father we chose our ego over His good will for us. The law was given to bring us to our realisation that we can't be perfect in our own will. No matter what we do we can't be sinless always on our own. That's why even after law was given people still committed sin. So law was given to expose our weakness. We operate out of our flesh. To become perfectly sinless we have to transcend our flesh. Only God's spirit in us can do this. I hope this helps! God bless you sister.
God's law is to show us his perfect standard. To reveal to us we don't and can't measure up to the law and thus to drive us to Jesus who alone is able to keep or measure up to God's standard. Jesus fullfiled God's law perfectly on our behalf and offers us God's righteousness freely by grace when we place our faith/trust in him.

Was the guy who wrote that 1988 book called Harold Camping? I used to listen to a guy on the radio who made one or two dates of the Lords return.
Harold Camping was president of Family Radio in Oakland California and wrote "1994?" I called him when it first came out and I got him on the phone to let him know he was wrong. He was an engineer and numerologist always looking at numbers in the Bible and seeing them as symbols hiding deeper truths and secrets. When 1994 came and went he started moving the dates further ahead instead of humbly apologizing. 😁
@@STEVEinNC Oh my goodness, I have not thought of Harold Camping in years. I had him on my radio in my shop all the time. No matter who called him and yelled at him he would calmly say, "Thank you very much, now can we take the next call please?" There is a kind of documentary on him on UA-cam.
Andrew, isn't hebrews chapter 8 verses 8-13 addressed to Israel only, or is it to us gentiles too? Is doesn't say gentiles too.
Good question. Consider though that Colossians 2:11-14, 1 John 2:12, Romans 4:6-8 do reiterate the same truth about our sins that are put away by the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Also, the question begs to be asked would the blood do more for the nation of Israel than it does for us as individuals in the church age? I believe it is just as powerful for us Gentile believers now as it will be then for them. Have a great day in the Lord. The gospel really is this good!

Our salvation is not based on what we do but on believing that what Jesus did to us and for us made us perfectly righteous before God.
Don't look to self....there's no life in it.....Christ in you ...is the only hope...is the only life ....as we behold the Lord who lives inside us we are being transformed into the same image ( 2 cor 3:18 )...
God in His Son through His Spirit lives in you, in your spirit by faith to be your life...1cor 6:17, eph 3:17
By the grace of God Just appropriate what Jesus is as yours in everything you need....because .God already set us free from the bondage of the enemy of God...He didn't desire to be in bondage again but if we stumble to it, there is grace because we have the Lord within as our life eternal, we can never lose...the Blood of Jesus completely satisfied God as the payment for our sins....We are going to heaven because of Jesus our Lord and Savior WITHIN...not because of us.
Yield to Him hun, and not temptation and life will be so much better for you.

We are saved by God’s grace. If you are not resting and you are striving you have not come to understand the gospel and how good it really is.
Andrew, You have the wrong knowledge about Christianity. We never felt heavy burdens and obligations to please God. We are making effort to please God because we love God and at the same time to preserve our soul too. We have a part to play but the Lords grace empowers.

This guy is completely wicked. He is a master scripture manipulation artist. Second Peter 3:15-16 is what he does with scripture. Those listening to him with itching ears are described in second Timothy 4:2-4
