Great discussion. I think Beyonce's appeal is her natural beauty. Her facial features and body is what really makes her popular. Of course she's done some good songs and she seems to be a phenomenal live performer. But her beauty is what defines her. Not her fashion selection. That's probably the main reason why her clothing lines have failed. Beyonce has never really been known for trend setting fashion. Her clothing style, which I believe was heavily influenced by her mother, was very unique and not really appealing to average working folk. As for gym wear, I've never saw Beyonce rocking the gym wear look, so she was hardly advertising the brand herself. Great discussion. I think Beyonce's appeal is her natural beauty. Her facial features and body is what really makes her popular. Of course she's done some good songs and she seems to be a phenomenal live performer. But her beauty is what defines her. Not her fashion selection. That's probably the main reason why her clothing lines have failed. Beyonce has never really been known for trend setting fashion. Her clothing style, which I believe was heavily influenced by her mother, was very unique and not really appealing to average working folk. As for gym wear, I've never saw Beyonce rocking the gym wear look, so she was hardly advertising the brand herself. She may have gotten banka from the deal, but it will probably be her last clothing deal for a while

Those clothes were trash I know I work in a store that carried house of Deion. The young ladies would buy the clothing and return them a day later soon as they purchase it. It was absolutely trash. Beyoncé had her outdated mom designing the clothes and their cheaply made and absolutely trash. They finally stop selling her brand because it was a loss for this major department store.
