I just want that one day I become a general manager for a professional soccer team . So I can buy and sell players . I have a passion for scouting players on my own time I have always had a skill on finding great players. On a lower level of course.
Thanks for the video.
I would say that’s accurate, and that’s why a college degree is required and a masters preferred because you will learn about all those areas, especially if you’re an athlete yourself!
I just got hired as a middle school Athletic Director. Is that even a thing? It's a new position at the school and I will double as the Office Coordinator. What I'm learning is that AD's are mostly part time unless at a college. Is that correct? Also what resources should I pull from besides UA-cam?
How do you become a athletic director heading in my junior year of highschool and I want to follow a career in sports
Plan on getting your masters -- all collegiate programs would require it to be an athletic director, many bigger high schools too. It's an administrative job, so focus on business principles: budgeting, staffing, marketing, public relations, media relations, project maagement, facilities management, sales, fundraising etc.. Fundraising is a BIG one.
Well this is discouraging
