Hello Joe I owned Mitsubishi pickups standard cabs back in the days now for 17 years I have a micro cab Mitsubishi with power steering I used to take the lower leaf spring flip it and put it on the top it will automatically give you a 2 in drop with a 2 inch block these mini trucks are coming back around again and have been with the Double Diamond dancing bed that's what I'm going to do on my truck again for the second time you have a beautiful project salute to you.
I finally made it back to this video. Seen this about 6 months after u made it. I wanted to do this to my 92 Mighty Max but my leaf springs were shot. They're discontinued wanted to replace bushing while being under it, so trying to get back up and running hasn't been easy. Finally waiting for my last part to get here in about 2 weeks, gonna finish up putting the last little things back together. Pretty short on time. Excited and nervous at the same time.
Yo joe where you at we need more content!! I just purchased everything to do the same set up wanted to know if you think a 15 inch wheel would clear in the front ?
...the mikuni carb has 5 bolts, 4 around the twin barrels, easy to identify, the 5th somewhere, the manual doesn't say nor shows whereabouts ... where is it, anybody knows or has a picture ? G54B engine 2.6L AT Mikuni 32-35DIDTA carb
@thapelo moeng , these are white steelies normally used for trailers, they are 16 inch rims by 7 inch wide, tire are 185-65-16. They aren't my first choice but that's what I'm going to roll with until I get the ones I want. 😁
@Vinnie Rolla, Thanks!.... I did a short block overhaul years ago on the 4g64, got some pictures and been contemplating on doing a slide show video of it. Lets see!... As of future plans, I do have a 1G 4g63 to swap it in and turbo it, coming soon!
@Clayton Wells, you are correct, both 2nd Gen ( non V6/ 4x4) Mitsu and Dodges have similar suspension, power plant, steering etc. They only vary in the features like power steering, tranny and interior bell n whistles LOL!
@Clayton Wells, haven't had a chance to drive it on the road yet! will do a update video on it soon! about cost, I bought all these parts years ago so I don't remember how much it cost, on the video description I listed the parts from ebay, take a gander!
@Jason Powell , those are meant for trailers! a pair that was just laying around, and I needed bigger wheels that fit the new suspension for the time being! 😅 but they can definitely be used for small vehicles!
@Taylor Price , bought these parts over 2 years ago but I managed to find the parts number! Updated description on video should be up Live! Thanks for checking it out .
Hey Joe been following your built. Love the Mighty Max. I have one myself but instead of lowering it I want to lift it. Do you know were I can get some longer springs or some kind of lift kit for it? I have a 96.
@Tony Guerrero , Going high isn't my forte! 😅... since these minis don't ride on torsion bar, its pretty hard to say if there any bolt on that i know of. But I'll do some digging. Try checking out the FaceBook groups or MightyRam50.net for more info. 👍

@Jesus Cardoso, gracias amigo! Cuando terminar todo lo mecanico y suspencion, pienso comenzar con la hojalateria y pintura! 💪🏾👍🏽
what size of front rim you replace... to fit on spindle drop kit?
Those are 15s
What size block did you use for the back?
@Marcos Garcia, thats a 4 inch block with I think a 2 degrees taper. It sure may my pinion angle look straight enough with that little taper in it.
