I had the same thing with a dude I got to know around Christmas of last year on Discord. I was scared at first, but the dude was genuinely nice to me. I kept my alibi secret for a couple of months and then, we revealed ourselves; he looked better than I thought!
Since then, we have a blooming friendship there and we plan visiting each other one day.

Damn Memeify, didn't have to call me out like that 🤡🤡 Fr tho, I met my (now) girlfriend 3 years ago in Greece and we hit off right away. Couldn't stay with her for long unfortunately, so we shared our discord handles before I left. We kept in touch through the years I and gradually grew attracted to and fell in love with one another. I confessed over discord (and this is not a sentence I though I'd ever be saying) and we've been in out honey moon phase for almost a year now. Gonna meet her again this December to celebrate our anniversary

While I do agree on this but this isn't always true‚ as I'm talking from my own real experience. I met my current wife on discord. She is from England and I'm from Egypt. After a year of long distance relationship dating and many struggles‚ she finally managed to fly to Egypt and we got married. This isn't always the case tho and discord is mostly toxic tbh.

We were originally content with being friends, but one day he opened up about his broken home, which made me put him at the top of my priority list. Eventually he messaged me repeatedly saying that he wanted to kill himself. He even sent me a picture of his cut arm. In a fit of anxiety and grief i shouted out that i loved him, it was the first thing that came to mind. He instantly went silent. He just left the call and i didn't hear from him for the rest of the day. The next day, after breathing the biggest sigh of relief possible that he was still alive, he admitted that he loved me for a long time and that he was too worried that I'd reject him to say it. I was so touched by that and so happy that he was alive that i decided "I wanna be with this man for as long as possible"
That was 5 months ago. We've made huge progress. His mental health got exponentially better, we've learned damn near everything about each other. We've even decided to meet up irl once we both turn 18 and live together.
Heh sorry for all that, kind went off the rails. But yeah, just goes to show that, for as rare as they may be, it can work out sometimes. And always in the most unexpected situations

That’s the proof that the sex and the physics of an individual is important for a relationship. You don’t fall in love bc of the personality of someone.
Intimate relationships require there to be a.. y'know.. intimate level. If you like people because of their personalities alone, then jumping to a physical relationship seems like a non-sequitor.
