The 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships in Doha, Qatar, will be one of the last major competitions ahead of the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. Being held between 21-31 October, the competition will feature around 1,300 athletes from almost 100 countries and will take place in the 12,000 capacity Qatar Sports Club’s - Suhaim Bin Hamad stadium.

Absolutely fantastic video and efforts by all the competitors. That commentator was brilliant too Does anyone know who the commentary team was and who was doing the main speaking? And just because you are disabled and paralysed doesn't mean you can't do anything. Go for it!!!!

If Paralympic Games has seen this, may I ask a question regarding classification: why is Sam Grewe from the United States classified as the same class with the above knee amputees and those with lower limb impairments even though he is jumping with a prosthetic? Thank you in advance.

It because he has a leg "missing" .he can use one because I think he has more leg to use one. But don't take me on it as I'm not as hot on it

If you look at him you can see that he has a reverse foot instead of a knee (rotationplasty, probably had cancer in is knee or upper leg as a young child). So he technically falls in the above knee amputee category, which a agree is weird. Because he uses his ankle as his knee. Putting him in the below knee category would be unfair to him, because this ankle doesn't work as good as an actual knee.
