What It Takes To Stage And Sell A $16.5 Million NYC Penthouse - Навчання та стиль
For a 16.5 million dollar penthouse. It has HORRIBLE views.
@Dreamstate I wish I could admit how much I pay in NYC a month for a bedroom/bathroom
Outlook very average
So true. It's a mansion somewhere else with maybe 14 to 15 million in your pocket
Location, location, location.
It’s fine as a fifth home if ur a billionaire
Can they just make a reality tv show of this, this woman is so talented
16,5 million dollars for THAT? what a joke
Smistadiwnl it’s the location the place itself is 100k😂
Hahaha
Staging makes the difference ;)
I'm literally binging all of Cheryl Eisen's staged homes, it is so addictive and inspiring. what goals........
Lots of 'art experts' in these comments lmao... It's just staging, folks. Admittedly this 'episode' doesn't really show you what an amazing entrepreneur this woman is, she's done other way more impressive spaces.
She’s having a moment with the word moment
She’s having a moment moment
A moment that softens.
👍🇧🇷
That art piece does not suit that place.
What you’re saying you don’t like soup cans on your walls???
That’s funny, I didn’t know that everyone in this comment section were interior designers.
no but when it looks like something anyone could put together, even people on benefits are laughing at
"Easy said then done"
this is not a 16.5 mil place ... it's overpriced even for nyc ..
literally no one watching this will ever afford this
I will one day
Alek S I will! Dreams can come true!
@@maeudaou7347 every nice thing starts with a dream.
Did you just assume the size of my bank account?
So did it get sold?
The question I wish to ask
“Organic moment” “Gallery moment” cringing hard....
Don't forget the "floral moment"
Sarah Aisha Rizal - Lol so many moments
Messy moment, anxiety moment, she did a decent job but not quite perfect, I think because they have limited time and furniture to choose!
Jen comment moment
Cringe moment
This doesn’t look like a 16M$ Place lol
Feels a couple hundred thousand AT MOST. But hey, NYC.
Even for New York tbh
For $16 m I could get a condo at 432 park
Nice, small apartment with a soup can. Very epic 😎
If I had the money to buy this, I would buy anything else. I can imagine this is part of New Yorks affordability problem.
IKEA style furniture and paintings
JJ PREME IKEA Furniture More Impressive Than This Garbidge.
I could watch this all the damn day I love decorating!!
“We are going to do a very big sculptural coffee table”
Okay, so you mean circle?
I don’t think people in these comments understand why this place is so expensive, let me clear it up. It’s NYC, you’re paying for the location. People talk about how you can have a huge mansion anywhere else however you wouldn’t get the experience and fun of the city. Take a trip there and you’ll understand! Imo it’s the best place in the country! (totally not bias at all)
If you own 16 mil your not a dummy, it would take more than furniture to impress
You'd be surprised
It’s not about “impressing” it’s giving it the feel of liveability
@@candirockstar135 for 16.5 mil i need to live in space
You’re*** a dummy
You could just lower the asking price the same amount you paid her to do nothing.
But it would take double the time to sell it
Exactly, she's doing what anyone could do better with simple common sense.
"Yea! I can sit on a big wooden hand. Yes! This place is worth more than 16 million egotistical rich people".
Didn't know bricks make a space cold. I feel red bricks actually warm it up while the gray bed cools it down. Saw the same video with a different apartment on a different channel btw..
That’s a really nice place, maybe even like 5M but for 16M you’ve got to be out of your mind
This video is so inspiring!
Welcome to THE ONE AND ONLY expensive Manhattan
Love the staging 😍
Dejavu anyone?
Im not an expert in real estate, but i think the problem in selling the place is because of the price and not because of having wrong stages
This
The dining and living room are just so ugly.. lol
Yep
agreed
To summarize: you just buy cheap and low quality goods and furniture and put in the flat to rise the price up to the sky!
The art pieces are ugly but I believe its only meant to be placeholders as she mentioned that the elite clients most likely have a collection of their own that they want to display.
They've got a giant warehouse of goodies to make their final magic & makes things happen pronto❣️😂
I just didn't get the so called "Art" used here 🤷♂️
m k I used to eat that soup as a kid. Did not know I was eating food from an "artistic" can.
That’s modern art for ya 🤦♂️
That's inspired by Andy Warhol. The man obsessed with mass produced junk and thought that it was cool and edgy. It was and the can of soup has a long history.
@@rashmiratnakaran5781 Yes, It's inspired by Andy Warhol and a more interesting setting.
A lot of people don’t understand that it’s supposed to be a STAGING not a move in property. That art used is supposed to show the size or shape or art that can be put there. It’s not going to stay there forever. Plus, what are you expecting if all of that needs to be done in less that two weeks. I agree with you in the fact that the art isn’t good and doesn’t fit the place but given the time constraints that she has to work on plus the multiple projects that she has to do, it’s pretty decent when you take all of those into consideration
I think these type of stagers make everything slightly ugly on purpose. When a prospective buyer walks in they say to themselves "oh that's ugly, but I could make it look SO much better." It's about getting to the ego. Sales is emotion.
I like how there is Diversity of Race and Gender at her Company.. Good job Sister!!
I rather built a house in the countryside, a mansion.
People who could buy this most probably also have a house in the countryside 🙂🙃
Rich people apparently need to drink in every room
drinking wine in the home makes people feel smug and sophisticated
The staging isnt the problem; it’s the price.
16 mil for a studio
I think the owner never wanted to sell the house, hence she was there to make sure of that.
UA-cam’s *RECOMMENDED* has done it again!
To me, grays and black are cold colors, not warm
Everyone who is complaining about the art & furniture here obviously either doesnt like modern art or doesn't know about it.
Hell the soup can art is litterally an homage to Andy worhol.
Mikey Guanipa * Andy Warhol
I think the house looks great
Lower the price to $417.25 and I'll buy it cash 😤
Man I love having a giant Campbell’s chicken soup in my living room
Even if I had $17 million to spend, I’d rather buy a mansion in the Hamptons than some dinky apartment. No matter how well u stage a property if it’s too expensive then no one gonna buy
She has such a great eye! Either you have it or you don't. She does.
This is awesome!!!!!!
400k in my town
So white colors, fur, and wood? I rather take the 1998 movie "You Got Mail" decor.
Try to stand up from one of these super low sofas 😂
Take a shot every time she says “organic” or “soft”
quick we need some art
*paints random piece of wood
haha i love it, what a joke
In my country, with that amount of money, you can buy 16 more penthouse like that..
even rappers like blueface and the migos can’t afford this lol
Hussein Al-Asadi there are 100 s of billionaires in ny
I think the reason its not sold is not because of the staging, but the price for this space
She definitely has a gift of hiding her stress!
Adam serhant was sellinga 20 million apartment with an indoor pool on it. This just doesn’t feel worth the money.
Staging helps sell a luxury house? How about saving the money on paying for this ridiculousness and reducing the price tag a bit to reflect the same. It’ll sell out easier, and anyone who owns anything luxurious is going to want their own decor from the start to finish in their own preferences anyway.
Why tho
warms my heart to see people taking a dump on this. What a letdown. half this shit would be found in a typical twenty somethings apartment
Looking Damn authentic 😁😁😏
The $7 bottle of wine on the roof sent me.
I think the house is actually worth 14.5 million but because of these extra add ons like staging, open house, realtor fees and fees on top of fees 😬
Is it only me that thought that the art pice cost that much😂
Easy just filled it w goodies that the buyers can easily imagine themselves of happily living there as the King & Queen of their castle. 💕😂
I think the problem isn’t the staging but the terrible deal. 16.5 for that??
All that art and furniture and 'art' are so going straight into a dumpster the moment someone buys that place...
Other videos that she appeared stated that either the buyer buys the furniture or it goes back to her warehouse! So no, they do not go to the dumpster. It’s asset and money and she runs a business, no one would just throw everything away after one use
@@jjk4891 Yeah, take it away to a warehouse, throw it into the dumpster. Same thing, as far as buyer is concerned.
This apartment is again changes see at Erik Cornover
That would be worth only $3-5M...
whoa there are better options for 16.5 million , with change, according to AD. can get like a huge piece of land in hamptons
Now 17 million dollars and still on the market
Setting up a gofundme as we speak
bring in Rebecca Robeson, she dresses houses a quarter of the price and makes them look like billion dollar houses
can of soup because that is all you will be able to afford after you buy this
Chicken noodle soup! Chicken noodle soup! Chicken noodle soup! With some sprite on the side
I’m having a comment moment
This place looks like 3mil max. and not 16mil.
Moment
It’s listed way too high
This lady made me loathe the word moment.
PW218 interesting comment moment
Location Location Location
Lol that chalk art??
The question is did it sell??
That’s way too expensive for 16 million dollars, more like 6-7million . Maybe this is the reason why it’s on the market forever
that looks tiny for 16.5 mils
It looked better prior to staging !!
did anyone notice the chicken noodle soup on the art piece? j-hope anyone?
Chicken noodle soup art ok?
Andy Warhol did it better
Wow. That's a lot of money for us common everyday folks. It be nice I guess. I'd buy a 500k home on the suburb in va beach and with that rest of the money be happy for the rest of my peasant life. And work ladies fingernails pretty up from 9 to 5
Hi
My dream home
agreed
She’s cute and adorable but twice my age lol
How old is she???
The neighbors looking into your glass house 24x7 🧐
The dislikes are from the people who can't furnish their apartments 🤷♂️👎
Chris Invests - Personal Finance Videos That was just about the shittiest and ugliest job at furnishing an apartment worth $16.5 million.
Chicken noodle soup chicken noodle soup chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side ok I'll stop now...
$16 million? the place itself is not that great and poor choices all around by the designer. I hope it doesn’t sell to teach them a lesson.
I'll rent it for 10 bucks.. Smh
Let them eat penthouse
