Honestly so impressed by how much charm and personality she’s managed to fit into this little space. So many smart choices, like the round dining table, the storage sofa, and the huge mirror on the dresser.
She's done such a good job of decorating and arranging her furniture that even with only one window, the dark brick wall, the dark wood furniture, and the large armoire, the apartment doesn't look overcrowded and dark. It looks so homey and comfortable...it's the only one-room (aside from kitchen) apartment I've ever seen that I could see myself living in and being happy in.
She did a great job at making her place look soooo inviting and even nostalgic. The ladder chair is pretty amazing lol. I love how she sprinkled in some of her late mother’s artwork 😭

How preciously she designed her tiny apartment. I can tell in her eyes how she misses her mom & I can feel she’s made her mom proud. The way she utilized every space, so smart. Love how she put the books in the fireplace & up on the shelf. Cool chair ladder &the way she hung up the shoes in the Armoire so clever! Wow! It's absolutely amazing how she pulled everything together so perfectly. Her space, although small, gave me the impression that I was looking at just one room in a large victorian home. And to have found the picture that her mom had drawn was the icing on the cake. Loved it!💖💖💖

More horrifying: that’s actually cheap for the Upper West Side. It’s a very expensive neighborhood. Most of the city is now. The building is probably not that great, no doorman to receive packages, possibly no laundry in the building either, dirty and old.

Every portion of her apartment is functional as well as beautiful and pleasing to the eye. The full bed and bedstead instead of a tiny cot is quite impressive as well as esthetically attractive as I am a bed lounger type person due to Covid infections and aging issues.
Her decoration is unapologetic in that 200 square room! Amazing I couldn’t not think of a better way to handle So many furnitures pieces into one expansive room. You have good taste in designing and decor to your own style! Kudos to you!
