Just finished Duck Dynasty on DVD and I was disappointed in how they treated Phil.
I listen to Phil because of his old life. It was canceled . Phil you make the teachings real. God saved you and where your amazing life led you. One of your best gifts from your bad past was finding your wonderful daughter. Thank you Jesus for the Robinson's and their gift of explaining the bible so people like me understand it.

@@cavey3249 What absurdities? ---> That your God sacrificed its self to himself in order to forgive humans for the sin he placed on them because of what a distant relative did. The whole story is absurd and immoral. 1) Human sacrifice is wrong 2) scapegoating is wrong 3) punishing children for what a distant relative did is wrong.
You believe your God is loving, yet he describes it's self as jealous and requires it's servants (You) to fear it...... that's love? Sound more like an abusive marriage. This God will test the loyalty of it's most faithful by asking them to kill their own child (Abraham). This "All knowing" God will allow Satan to torture Job and kill his family to prove that his servant will remain loyal despite all the abuse inflicted on him?
The Bible offers very little in the way of morality. It's about blind obedience to an Authoritarian figure. Murder is wrong unless your God demands it.

Al that chowder recipe sounds great but I have never cooked with evaporated milk so I have no concept of how much to add. Just a hint please. Thank you. this episode was awesome, yet again.
In Miss Kay's cook book it says 1 to 2 cans evaporated milk and 2 cups whole milk. Let me know if you need the full recipe. Al missed a couple of things that he didn't mention on the podcast.

we are lousy with Canada Geese up here in Sothern Ontario Canada. We have resident geese that stay all year and don't migrate. There is so many of them they opened a special season 2 weeks earlier than the migration starts. As they are they are fat, lazy and stupider than there migrating cousins... 8 to 15 lb.ers. fills the freezer nicely :)

I’ve been talking to people about Jesus and when I do I make sure they know he is God. That God came to die for us. We then can have a relationship with God. Because he wanted to make a way for us He came as a man and didn’t so all his glory except once with James John and Peter at the transfiguration. Jesus is God.

Until then, we just have to love God above all else, love our neighbors, and do our best. That's where God's grace comes in. I was into it, Then they lost me. How can Christ die for your sins and then hold you accountable for your sin after you trust in him. Your sinful by nature till you die. He doesn't stop you from being bad. He forgave you for it at calvary. Your still bad, even after being saved, that can't be stop. But you can be saved by believing that Christ died for our sin. Also think yall should throw them NIV bibles in the trash pick up an old king james. It doesn't deny the Virgin birth like the niv does.
