I had one, my husband and I was in another room talking and her name wasn’t mentioned but all of a sudden she was remarking on our conversation. Alexia is history in my house, no more.

Alexa was handy as all get out until the creepy things came up with her suggestions that I didn't ask for but it clearly heard our conversations, and then it was gone after it asked my daughter for her name....it gave all of us the most uneasy feeling and we unplugged and trashed all of them.

Alexa always has to be listening. Its just that she is only programmed to respond when you say her name. She has to always be listening in order to hear her name when it is said.
Gathered for the holidays, my mother experienced Alexa for the first time a few years ago. She asked what else it could do beyond changing the music that was playing. So I said, ‘Oh, you can order from Amazon. Just say something like Alexa order me ten thousand marbles.” Next thing I know my sister’s EchoDot is asking what size marble tiles she wanted.
Phil is a real true down to earth Godly man. I enjoy listening to his opinions and beliefs. 🙏

I'm with Phil...Alexa isn't any good. Our smart phones are bad enough. People make videos all the time of really creepy things Alexa says. All of that stuff is always listening

Thanks to these 3 Robertson men on this podcast for educating me on the prophecy God made in the First Century before the world had been created. Phil makes a great teacher! We know of Phil's salvation from an unchristian lifestyle to this point in his life. He is such a believable witness to Christianity it 's easy to believe the many man souls he has saved. Thank you for taking my faith to another level and inspiring me to start witnessing more. Praise God for giving the world this amazing man and his family.

small note on what Jase said. they lord seems to have left me with lots of unexplainable pain in my gut for about a week now. I can't do or eat much but I feel like God's trying to wake me up so to speak bc I'm still not living right. I quit meth and heroin and stuff drink and smoke weed alot like everyday. today's the first day I haven't in years (unless I was in jail) bc I've been so sick. I'm 21. so pray for me maybe.

All our internet devices are listening to everything! Phones, Internet, Tablets and Voice Devices. Even Televisions.

My daughter in-law argues with alexa and gives it orders like a military officer.
My son tells her you are using too many words. My grandson told it to make goat sounds and Alexa heard 'ghost' and his mom woke up to ghost sounds, told it to stop and it said I'll see you later. creepy.
One of the funniest things you’ll see is SNL Amazon for seniors. On UA-cam. It’s hilarious
Alexa uses artificial intelligence and it listens to every word you say and records it. She more than likely heard Phil or Kay talking about Si. Maybe Miss Kay actually said "Phil, we should tell Si about this technology" and Alexa agreed.
It's like the technology described in the book 1984. BTW, the big block letters above the Bible scripture says Titus 1:8-9 but the scripture Phil read was Titus 1:1-2.

Al, Phil and Jase. When Alexa saids "I'm not understanding right now". Most of the time means the internet is not working. She need the internet connection in order to hear you. You can get light they she can turn on and off. There are little things they go into the outlet and turn like your Christmas tree, etc on and off. And finally, she can turn your TV on and off if you have a type of smart tvs.
