I like hearing the bass and the drums separately from each other. This just makes me wish someone had an app with all these channels on sliders so we could all mix how we fancied.
Not exactly the same, but foobar2000 lets you deconstruct old vgm with the right add-ons. I don't think there's an add-on to do the individual channel oscilloscopes, though; pretty sure carpathia records them all as separate things.

differences between staff roll and in-game: 1. metropolis - channel 4 volume is equal with the other channels instead of being slightly quieter, psg 3 doesn’t make the clap sound in staff roll 1. mystic cave 2p - channel 0 and 1 are swapped 2. aquatic ruin - lead is quieter in-game 3. mystic cave - channel 4 instrument is changed in the intro in-game 4. casino night 2p - bass instrument is different in-game 5. emerald hill 2p - snare is replaced, claps removed, intro instrument of channel 1 is moved to channel 0, channel 4 volume is equal to channel 3 in-game 6. hill top - bass instrument is changed, channel 0 volume is equal to channel 2 in-game 7. casino night - psg 0 and 1 are almost entirely rearranged in-game
If only the SNK cartridge was able to bring back some of the scrapped zones, imagine running around in the original zones without the use of mods or hacks or the prototype cartridge and play the final version?
I love how the staff roll doesn't include Sky Chase and Wing Fortress. Just goes to show that those weren't originally planned to be in the game. Also, Casino Night still uses its beta trumpets!

@Higor Joseff In extremely rare occasions, they used all four PSGs, but it required some workarounds. It was better to use the main three instead.
