On your take of Shen, not all villains need the muscle as well as be a one-wrecking crew. What made Shen such a good villain is that he nearly beat Po psychologically, I mean he stunned Po when he said his parents never loved him and he got shot off and would have died. It doesn't matter if you're strong or more deadly than your enemy cause if they have you mentally, you're done. Hell, Shifu said himself in KFP3, “Before the battle of the first comes the battle of the mind”
I mean hell, Shen may not have killed ALL the pandas but he did still commit a mass genocide, he didn't need strength because he was cunning and quick, that's just a base villain archetype, no reason to diss it just because it's not everyone's favorite or an anime villain
So glad you pieced together that Tai Lung went to the spirit realm. During Kai’s attack of the Jade Palace you can actually see Tai Lungs chi on his belt, so Kai and Tai Lung met in the spirit realm and fought
Something that maybe you didnt notice: In the first movie, when oogway "died", he was actually going out to the chi realm by choise, cause he knew that if he stayed there, he would defeat tai lung himself again and shifu would not get his redemption, and since he was a master of chi, he could get himself to the chi realm. He always knew that this was the only way that shifu could find peace, and train po to be his sucessor Also, theres a theory (i dont think it got explained) that says that the only ones able to use the wuxi finger move are the real masters of chi, the dragon warrior. Thats why in the first movie, Po says to tai lung that shifu didnt teach him, but he figured it out, because he always had it in him, unlike shifu, who was actually bluffing when he threatened Po. There is so much more to this movies and the whole story, it is actually one of the best trilogies ive ever seen. Ps: Yes, Tai lubg was in the chi realm, and got captured by Kai. Theres a moment where you can see his jade stone in Kai's belt, a very subtle detail
Shifu’s been trying to retire because he’s past his prime. In the first one, we see him still trying hard because no one has been able to meet a standard set by Tai Lung (which he can’t allow, _because_ of how Tai Lung turned out). In the second one, he’s achieved inner peace, but that would not have necessarily let him pull off what Po could do with it, and wasn’t something he could just ‘teach’. In this one, his first scene is trying to retire from teaching, whether to get back into shape or just go on sabbatical. And he’s only seriously ‘fought’ those he wouldn’t have been able to beat, from Tai Lung (who he fully trained to _be_ better than himself) to Kai (who fought alongside Shifu’s _master_ in _his_ prime).
And master Oogway never died, he sent himself to the Spirit realm before Tai lung arrived he is very laid back but I also think that it is his way of teaching Po by doing it himself but regardless Master Oogway is too OP
I agree with you guys tai lung and Kai we’re really cool and powerful but that’s why I like shen since he managed to be a menace without being a powerhouse

Nah tai lungs enterence was straight up fire. No epic villain music needed, but a rather ominous feel, with the lightning and abandoned environment, with nobody there at the moment, only to appear out if nowhere with authority with a simple lightning strike in the next cut.
The paws destiny show actually reveals why pandas use to be masters of chi, they were guardians of the Well of Chi. The mountain village isn’t new it’s their ancestral home. The one shen destroyed was in a valley. The well of chi is connected to and has control over all chi if all is taken then so to shall all life perish and the one who took it all would become a god. Also the show reveals further significance to the dragon warrior title. As po discovers he’s the re-incarnation of a dragon. Making title pretty litteral considering Po transformed into the form of the dragon he was in his past life briefly to escape a prison dimension and transformed back after crashing through a roof of some building.
@@diaz639 tbh no one appreciated 2nd movie when it came out, it’s those type of movies that you’ll learn to appreciate with time. These guys were expecting a punch punch villain again which they enjoyed in 3rd movie again. Shen’s menace and real strength could be understood after few recaps.
@@Tooba-K123 Yeah. When I first watched KFP2 as a kid, I didn't think Shen was strong either, but now that I'm an adult, I realise that Shen did the most damage out of all of them and almost conquered an entire country. He was also the only one able to inflict psychological damage on Po.
I remember this movie Kai is like my most favorite villain he has the best backstory and his weapons are awesome and the powers and his theme when he appears ooooohwooooo 🔥 🔥 🔥
Who has Shifu beat? The Furious Five (Tigress, Mantis, Viper, Monkey, and Crane) combined couldn't lay a finger on him. That was the first time we saw him. Tai Lung, who defeated the Five and every guard in Chorh-Gom Prison, had to put serious effort into defeating Shifu... I mean, Shifu is no slouch. Despite being semi-retired, he's arguably the second strongest non-villain around.
Yeah it is disappointing. I mean it is their opinion, but villains do not always have to be about strength or power. What makes Shen the most memorable and most loved villain of the Dreamworks movies is his intelligence, cunning, cruelty, and mental approach to getting others under his command. He mentally screwed with Po to weaken him emotionally and mentally to get the advantage. You could be strong in physical strength, but if you do not have the capacity to undermine others or at least be able to get under their enemy's skin, then they are just brutes. This is why as much as I love Kai he is the weakest villain in the trilogy in terms of being a threat. I mean yes Kai was a force to be reckoned with, but when Po figured out how proud and arrogant Kai was he knew how to take him down. Granted, yes, Po was helped from the chi of his loved ones, which is what saved him, but that is all because he taught them well. Lord Shen took down the strongest Kung Fu warrior (Master Rhino) and made Master Ox and Master Croc so afraid. Lord Shen was a warlord whose focus was on control through fear, an ultimate weapon that cannot be undermined. He made Po question himself so many times throughout the movie even almost pitting him against himself. Even in their final fight Po could barely keep up with Shen , almost dying in that fight and it was the only fight in the trilogy where he did not joke with the villain (nor did Shen get slow-mo moments of being ass kicked like Tai Lung or Kai). Tai Lung was great too, but the only reason I do not put him at number 1 is because he was not focused on as much as Lord Shen and Kai were. Yes the first movie was more about Po and Shifu learning from each other, but it would have been nice to see more of Tai Lung. The backstory was great and his fight scenes were good too, but I felt something missing from his character.
Kai is the most powerful generally because he is both strong AND smart. He uses the trap to do every bit of work for him: the masters leave their trail behind for him to find their cities, he can gather their info from the shipwreck from afar and he can ambush them. Hell, if he made the smartest member of the Furious Five (Crane) look like a complete idiot, he is definitely not just an average intellect guy. Shows off his keychains to demoralize and distract Shifu to take him down. Plus, this isn’t his best feat of intellect in the movie at all. I wouldn’t say he is just strong.

Anyway, just remember a true villain is someone whose presence speaks more than just muscles/strength and being evil for the sake of evil but great reaction as always 👍
Tai lung actually never always had evil in his heart i understand what he did to the valley was wrong but he did have a reason to be evil cause he did train all his life to be the dragon warrior as he said shifu filled his head with dreams, trained everyday until his bones cracked and then got told at the last minute he wasn't and when shifu apologised to him the look on tai lungs face showed the old him still in there but it was too late for him to turn back same with Shen they were both never truly evil just abandoned.
Even though this is a old comment , it feels like you got the comparison between Tai Lung and Shen backwards(you are right about Kai though). From what we see on screen, Shen already in the beginning was experimenting with the darker aspects of fireworks and after the Goat foretold his future he didn't hesitate and immediately went to genocide the panda village based on a fortune telling. Tai Lung in the beginning was innocent, the darker aspects of him only came in from his training with Shifu , who trained him with the mindset that he would be destined for greatness and the dragon warrior. Shifu had too much pride in Tai lung and he gave Tai Lung the dream of being the dragon warrior, where Tai Lung only ever wanted to make him proud and the moment that made Tai Lung snap, was when Shifu never stood up for him or had his back in the slightest when Oogway rejected Tai Lung. So Tai Lung was made bad by Shifu's pride and Shen already had hints of darkness, which was doubled down upon by him almost immediately comiting Genocide.

Yin and Yang is super important in Chinese Mythology. It's the very concept of duality (life/death, right/wrong, truth/lie, possibility/impossibility, logical/illogical, etc) Po however as Oogway stated is an embodiment of both sides of the Yin and Yang, meaning he is just the embodiment of Duality. It also says he mastered chi, meaning he achieved the state of taiji, described in Chinese Philosophy as "The Supreme Ultimate" in which the interaction of body and mind, space and time, and the state of the universe is mastered. Meaning current Po can manipulate all those things💀

during the part kai made the furious 5 jade zombies you can see tai lung at the left as a jade amulet set it to 0.25 speed meaning kai is powerful tai lung lost too
All of these villains have one thing in common they all wanted something. tai long wanted to be the dragon worrior and the scroll / shen wanted to rule over all of China / kai wanted all the powers of chi. So when Oogway said ''when will you realize the more you take the less you have'' he is talking to all of po's enemies in a way. It's the same thing the sooth sayer tried to tell shen.

Meaning current Po can manipulate all those things💀
i think they should make a 4th movie that relates around emotions
32:50 He's the kind of "sports teacher who doesn't do sports" 😂😂
U should watch legends of awesomeness set in between the 2nd and 3rd films
Lucky for us dreamworks has anounced a new kfp movie, so… not the end… yet ☺️ (hope this one get on the level of 2 movie or better, or else I’m gonna cry 😭😩)
I didn’t know what Kai was at first until I went to the official wiki, apparently he’s a bull.
That is a weird bull design
He's actually a yak. Google lies
Tai lung was to test Po Physically..She was to test him Physiologically...N Kai is to test him Spirutually..Now Next villisn would test him Sexually😂
Kung Fu Panda 4 coming out in 2024
Tai lung's face when he saw that just folding his hand to po would have no effect on the wushi finger key
😐😐😐
during the part kai made the furious 5 jade zombies you can see tai lung at the left as a jade amulet set it to 0.25 speed meaning kai is powerful tai lung lost too
Of course the strongest foe of Oogway is strong and the one who save his life on the Past.
28:59 badass entrance
All of these villains have one thing in common they all wanted something. tai long wanted to be the dragon worrior and the scroll / shen wanted to rule over all of China / kai wanted all the powers of chi. So when Oogway said ''when will you realize the more you take the less you have'' he is talking to all of po's enemies in a way. It's the same thing the sooth sayer tried to tell shen.
Now i wonder how strong the next villain will be in the 4th movie
I was wondering when you guys can do WALLE Next please.
We will react to it
Tai lung can be seen on kais belt if u look hard enough
Well actually a 4th film is releasing on March 8th, 2024 😅
SHEEEEEEEEEEEESH
bro how are you questioning if that’s his dad or not, i literally watched you watch the last movie, did you forget???😂
Nah you’re Right just forgot 😅
I was confused too but then again we UA-cam subscribers don’t know how long did it take for them to watch 3rd movie. It’s possible they forget the face of the father from 2nd movie.
@@AkinReacts you apparently zoned out throughout the entirety of the second movie if you can’t see how good it is
bro yall need to react to Anastasia😭🙏🏽 its so good
y'all gotta react to the fourth movie when that one comes out next year
Oogway: Take it Po I have a bigger one

We will 🤝
@@AkinReacts tysm you guys are gonna love it
You shouldn’t get mad at oogway he himself wasn’t strong enough to stop Kai in the beginning it was pos destiny not his
No, oogway willingly didn't use his full power. So po could master chi.
Let’s GOOOOOO
Hello, can we get reaction to treasure planet or emperors new groove?
5:33 😂😂😂
Please react to the Jurassic franchise (Jurassic park, Jurassic park lost world, Jurassic park 3, Jurassic world, Jurassic world fallen kingdom and Jurassic world dominion).

@@AkinReacts its perfection, no 4th movie needed😔
@@panoose I mean, that’s what everyone said when the second movie came out. Maybe the next one will be great as well
@@panooseking fu panda 4 will be the end of pos dragon warrior era he will become the new spiritual leader of yeh valley of peace I feel like that will completely conclude po story it makes sense

React to Who Framed Roger Rabbit movie next
I don't think you guys watched the ending of the first sequel where Po's dad tell us that his son is still alive, that's why you guys looks confused at the beginning 🤭
Watch cars 2 next pls
We will
Please react to Kungfu panda secret of scroll....It will only take 14 minutes...Its the origin of the furious 5...And you will be shocked I swear....And I want to see it...please do it🥺
The 3 durags
Pirates of the Caribbean
It’s hard for me to choose between tai-lung and Shen both S TEIR villains
Maybe u should just stay aweh weh 24:10 brahh🤣🤣🤣🤣💀
Why not every youtuber not reacting the whole movie smoothly
Pacific Rim? Seen it?
Abit sad that Kai didn't use tai lungs chi but it was understandable the chi makes him Stronger so he would keep both oogways and tai lung as they are the 2 strongest characters yet in kfp
Is not like he was weak before havin all those Chis if before die he was the strongest foe and rival o Oogway who was already learging the Chi, even in his story said their battle broke the earth and sky.
@@verachyrikinscarlosraul6825 definetly not weak without them but why risk the consequences of removing them taking of oogway and tai lung might send him back to the spirit realm cause the chi's is what made him able to go into the mortal world
@@darrenlingling1023 Thas is One great argumento, but even so I doubt Tailong has even a close chi to go to the living World, meanwhile, I think no One doubts Oogway If he wanted he could come to the living again XD, Actually, is HIS chi the One whie really make Kai live again(now that I think about it, you really have a great point, the Chi of Oogway probable is the one who keeps him in the living World).
@@verachyrikinscarlosraul6825 yes it was all because of oogway but I can't name another person that is better than tai lung interms of Kung Fu and strength except oogway and po, so possible Kai wanted to enhanced himself directly by tai lung
@@darrenlingling1023 I hear the máster Rinho from Kung Fu Panda 2 was at Tailong level, that is way even Tigres says his tecniche was perfect, and Kai indeed have his chi as well like Tailong, and just like him, he didn't use the máster Rinho, probable for what you say he keep the Strongest fighters to himself. That way he could be in the Living World.
