Then a genuine scary well rounded true heavyweight matchup comes along in Tom aspinal and he doesn’t want it ? He wants to fight perieira who was literally fighting at 185 a year ago which is a weight class below the one jones just said he needed to leave. Oh and he teased a heavyweight move for over 10 years only to move up as soon as the genuine HW champion left the company.
Been a bones jones fan all my days but can’t sit and support this nonsense any more. Guy fights once every few years for the last 10 years, there’s more drama outside the cage than in it for the last 10 years +

Take one and give him all the drugs he wants to take but he has to train at home, or work during the day to afford to train at night, like so many fighters. Take the other brother and give him all the trainers, dietitians, coaches, he wants, and let him train anywhere he wants, and he can take any *legal* supplements he wants but unlike the other brother, he will be drug tested.
Now, if you think the brother on PEDs will do better than the brother with the funding but no PEDs, you’re fucking delusional or you truly know nothing about drugs. After watching 30 years of ufc it’s clear to me that who becomes a legend is more down to luck and timing (luck) than anything else. Hi, I wrote a wrote a comment on your Zabit video about 5 years ago.
I was telling about how this video made me think hard how to raise correctly and what values to give to my soon to be born first child.
Well, he turned five a couple weeks ago, I and his grandad bought him a bike.
I watched him fall (sometimes up close, sometimes discreetly from afar), cry, swallow his tears to cry more to get back on this damn thing for another round. I was there for each outburst of frustration and need of encouragement (with a load of tears and snot)
And after two days plenty of this stuff, I saw the little guy driving his bike alone with an utter feeling of pride, satisfaction and happiness.
I did and still try my best to make him a decent man, nice with others, and empathetic.
But at the same time, to have the strength, be it physical or moral to stand his ground for him or for others if needed.
I try to avoid as much mistakes I can. But oh boy it's not easy! I still try to make it right for the little guy. I watched him from the size to fit on my forearm, to this mini dude living with us with his own character, personality, quality and shity traits that you can't help but love and slightly overprotect.
Every day, I do what I can to bring the best of him but unfortunately, sometimes I fucked up . But I still try to do my best cause parenting is only hard if you want to be a *good parent*, and if you try more, you'll statistically fail more.
But it's okay, I just have to do better next time, learn from the mistakes and always do my best.
Any way, he have a little brother for six months now and once again, we'll do, my wife and me, our best to make him a happy and good person for others and himself with the right values to live in community.

The fact that Jones is now saying he'd rather fight Periera than Aspinall, who's a guy who's never fought at Heavyweight and who was outwrestled pretty definitively by Israel Adesanya is ridiculous. (not that Adesanya's wrestling is bad, I'd actually say Izzy's ground game is quite underrated, but it'd be asinine to compare his wrestling at middleweight to Jones's at LHW/HW)

Jon Jones Career earnings are about $14 million. Deontay Wilder Career earnings are about $100 million. Anthony Joshua is $250 million. MMA fighters are criminally underpaid, especially when you consider both Wilder and Joshua have LOST multiple fights and Jon would destroy them both and has zero losses other than the Matt Hammil disqualification. Given Dana White has a networth of over $500 million and the UFC sold for over $6 billion the way they are treating Jon is beyond disrespectful. Jon says he knows fighters that cannot afford to rent an apartment! Pay the man!

Jones spent two years prepping his body for HW, now it's been even longer for his body to adjust. He's trying to bait Alex to rush the transition from 205 to 265 weight class, which is insane, and if he loses it will actually damage his goat status
He spent the time getting pretty fat aswell. Can´t see how he could have followed the road of "doing everything right". Jones could have cemented his place with 3 more fights at HW and probably be as damaged as the gas guzzling and coke make him. The pec tear is suspicious, and IMO speaks of how he is just not really aware and in it. Trrying to "save things" in the gym. He could have got Blaydes and Stipe out of the way a year ago.

Beleived in Stipe all the time. Just wasn´t a fan of his condition. Needed muscle. He looks solid as say a triathlete, but those have better legs and ass than Stipe. It looks to me, they try to work around bad knees, back and hips, yet all they should have been doing yrs back was just getting more jacked from the bottom up. There was some hubris and some "it will work" thinking in that camp, when if your joints or patterns aren´t great, you always, always need muscle, muscle muscle. Muscle. Should have been over 250 lean when he came to the UFC. You can´t "lean" onto winging it and letting the body recover from beatings like that, when fighting guys more jacked and in many ways stronger.

To then get CTE or other form of problems that happens when you get knocked out like dizzy ness, headaches or even get strokes. The respect I had for Dana is completely gone. Jones arguably lost to a one legged Santos. Then, he 100%, no argument, no excuses, lost to Reyes badly. Jones is no GOAT. Cheated his whole career, picked easiest fights since DC, and the LHW division was already one of the least stacked divisions.
No excuses but plenty of disagreement . Reyes won rounds 1,2, Jones won 4,5. Round three was Reyes winning at first then fading as Jones began to walk him back. So technically Reyes landed more in round three, but by the end it was all Jones. Woulda coulda and shoulda won but cardio failed. Reyes wins the comment section of UA-cam and would never win the rematch.
@@geraldfriend256 the Reyes fight was close and debatable, but Jones GOAT status is hype. He had trouble winning close decisions several times at Lt Hvy and has done almost nothing at Hvy. Lt Hvy/cruiserweight are notorious for being talent-poor in boxing and MMA--the best pound-for-pound fighters tend to be in middle/welter and the best absolute fighters go to Hvy/super heavy/open weight. Jon Jones does not have the resume of the GOAT. You might have an argument that he is the GOAT of Lt Hvywts, but that's not saying much. He is not pound-for-pound GOAT and not heavyweight GOAT and not absolute GOAT.

I love how fans were so easily manipulated by the UFC into thinking Jones is ducking Tom. You know the UFC didn't have to make that interm belt right? They knew Jones wasn't giving up the belt he's waited 3 years for. They put up an interim title to try and force him to fight someone else. Same thing happen with DJ.

plenty of things wrong with how dana runs things, but Jones isnt fighting anybody and tries to cherry pick here and there and still isn't fighting. He does have blame too, despite dana being a piece of shit trying to make sure every fighter stays poor and docile.

Dana learned long ago to never let certain fighters, who are not necessarily team players, to feel like they are in a position of strength because they will hold it over you. willingness to walk away is one of the strongest moves you can pull when negotiating....if you're needed.
