If you do try Elden Ring, pay way too much attention to the tutorial. I mean it. Take screenshots of those pop-ups. Learning those basics will save hours and hours of learning shit the hard way. The game kinda demands that you care and take it seriously. 😅
You can also always access those pop-ups through the inventory menu
Yeah, even with all the stuff they added. People still gotta read. Hell they even had to patch in that the game tells you about the tutorial cave so you don't miss it.

The neat thing about the tutorial and information in general of how to do things in Elden Ring, you get an information tab in your inventory tabs to look back on those plus letters and things you get. Also part of the experience isn't that you're just going through hell, but you're rewarded nicely for it in weapons, armors, spells, and other fun advantages people sometimes miss that all build up options. Most of the time I play one of these games wishing I could play them for the first time again because of the amount of exploration, wonder, and surprises they offer as you take them in and wonder how to get through them and approach them in however seems like you might want to at your own pace. For that I like watching people's variety of challenge runs where they find out little details and things that wouldn't have ever crossed their minds in their normal playthroughs like: If I'm playing overweight, how am I going to go passed this area or that area, or survive these sorts of opponents? People come across quite a lot of creative solutions that's neat to see they somehow made work, or found a system to do through what normally could be tedious.

1:33 Yeah, a little. It's only my third From Soft game, and it's by far the easiest, except for Malenia. But she's optional, so overall, still the easiest of all their games.
You get a horse to ride around on, you can summon spirit ashes, you can summon other players, there are so many options for both melee and magic that it's easy to find something to specialize in, and-best in my book-bows are actually viable against bosses, even for a casul like myself.
13:54 I beat Margit, that first boss, on my first attempt...-At level 45. Because I ran all around Limgrave fighting other things until I couldn't find other caves/catacombs to explore. And at level 160, I'm still going back to Limgrave and finding things I didn't come across earlier. This game is amazingly huge and rewarding to play. Best advice? Just ignore Stormveil Castle until you can beat that troll that stomped you previously. The Trolls are beefgates. In an FPS shooter, they'd be bullet sponges. Super tanky, super strong, but not extremely agile. Best fought from horseback if you're not up to dancing between their toes and dodging their stomps and slams.

Depends how you play. IMO it is way harder than dark souls games if you play as an old school strength build and wont use summons etc. But if you choose to use every tool Fromsoft provides you in the game then it 100% is the easiest.
It's as easy as you're willing to make it, purely due to how many options you've been given to handle the various fights you're presented with. You have a horse, spirit summons, & there's a LOT of really good sorceries & incantations to use as well.

Now, my experience in Dark Souls is very limited, and I am unfortunate enough for Dark Souls 2 to be my first. Needless to say, I am honestly very excited to try this game out sometime.

I was wondering why I saw a comment saying Max0r approved on the track by Ghost Final "Solar Seas". Which is the ending theme for the fixed point story event in Girls Frontline. Which like most Fromsoft games but maximized beyond all warcrimes and forced depression in mobile form.
I dont know what it is with China making banger mobile games that legitimately make me question the philosophy of humanity and existentialism but I'm still traumatized by my wife RO635 getting her brains blown out and left sitting upright. (I've literally seen some hard shit and that may be the prime example of the one time a games story made me feel sick.) But don't worry she got better...after a lot of painful additional trauma and her consciousness being shoved into a Boston dynamics dog upon which she wanted to die permanently to escape the shame before getting a new body. This took an extensive process and so did my heartbreak.
I'm legitimately afraid of the GFL anime getting a second season because I will have to relive this pain. Yet I want it because that story deserves to be told beyond the Chinese mobile rts game.
With all their games having so much depression im also convinced China's game devs are legit speaking out in this medium. I haven't even brought up how snuff brothels just exist in the supplementary lore as a place where many of these Android girls may come from just to be repurposed into combat machines.

Elden Ring wants you to take your time, learn its mechanics and explore. I played 40 hours in Limgrave, then i killed Margit.
I'll tell you right now, this video absolutely murdered my bit rate. There was hardly a single frame where the resolution wasn't utterly trash, despite it being as high as possible. Thats not your fault by the way. The OG video is just that fucking bonkers.
Absolutely play elden ring, you CAN do it.

I completely agree with Max0r Elden Ring is by far one of the easiest FromSoft games, if I can beat the game with my skill level, anyone can beat it, though I completely do not blame you for uninstalling, a large majority of the game is not fun, and I say this as a casual Dark Souls enthusiast.
Except Malenia, it's a good thing she's completely optional.
Hi, I wanted to share some knowledge to you big holla and to anybody Else who is stuck in Elden Ring or thinks it's very hard.
1: if the boss is too hard (ie kills you before you've reached 50% of the Bosses health) then go somewhere else. There are loads of things to Explore and most of it is probably easier.
2: grenades/pots are reusable. Meaning that when you get the cracked pots, you can use Them to craft bombs. And when you throw the bombs, you get the cracked pots back. So you can craft more. Very useful against Bosses who is weak to some element (fire, Ice, Holy and so on).
3: use spells/incantations. They can be super helpful Not only for extra Damage, but to also heal or remove negative effects. Good way to save on resources, Like boluses.
4: if you see someone with some cool armour. Then try and farm the enemy. It Will give good training in how to Dodge properly, and will give you runes for it at the same time. Also most of the time the armour is actually decent.
5: don't be greedy with attacks. Take your time and be aware of your surroundings and the enemy. Then when they have finished an attack combo, then go for the hit. But unless you stagger Them, then you should back away after making 1-2 hits on the enemy.
6: have different weapons ready for different situations. Very useful since not All enemies are weak to the same type of Damage. You can see what type of Damage a weapon does by looking at the text under the weapon name in your equipment menu. For example, strike weapons like clubs and maces are very useful against tough skinned enemies like the Crystalians and the Diggers since other weapons may bounce back like when hitting a wall.
And lastly, have fun. The game can be hard at times, but if you use All your tools at your disposal, remember to upgrade your stuff and just try out new things. But remember to give yourself time. If you don't feel ready for a boss, then wait and do some exploring. Do some Rune farming or farm for crafting material.
If you play it they will come 🤔
