Love these weaving forays! You so aptly describe the movement to the next level in our crafting. There is a technical aspect to each craft. Initially it is not apparent when we start a new craft, but if we strive to excell we will identify a level of excellence we desire to reach. Each person is very individual in that search. I like how you approach it, and it is good to revisit known skills and log a success, while the new goes on the back burner of our brain to work out how to do it better the next time.
Really enjoyed watching this Rachel. Not knowing much about weaving and having only woven a few times on a rigid heddle, I found it fascinating to watch you prepare your loom.
This is a great video. Thank you. I appreciated your personal opinions and Information. I really don’t have time to break out my loom and weave- knitting small projects- but this makes my heart happy. Just an idea. I used Day One also. I wanted something more “permanent.” I’ve made my own using my iPad and GoodNotes5. Super easy to add that photo and a few lines!
