I love Raleigh since they have all the entertainment options there but the traffic is terrible!! I just moved to North Carolina almost a year and a half ago from San Jose. I live by Emerald Isle in Carteret County. I love it here! I'm going to visit Greensboro and Winston Salem for the first time once baseball season starts. I want to go catch a Grasshoppers and a Dash game. I want to visit all the minor league ballparks in the state. Go Grasshoppers!! Greensboro looks like a great city. I also love it's nickname Tournament Town!!
Greensboro is so great! I do not miss the traffic one it! Emerald Isle is so pretty - we go to Oak Island often - which isn't too terribly far away (by the crow's flight) I love all the sporting events - even though my family doesn't love it too terribly much. So I need to go with friends for sure! Tournament Town is a great name 🙂
The Raleigh Durham area doesn’t have a light rail. That’s charlotte 😂

Thanks! Its a good comparison-- they're similar-- but if you want to pay more money and have more traffic- then move to Raleigh/Durham!

Greensboro of course!!!! Raleigh/Durham has hurt Greensboro Triad International. People are driving over to Raleigh and fly and that hurts Greensboro. When Piedmont Airlines and Eastern were here in the 80s, the Airport was pumping..
Greensboro is my ALL time fave! Perfect size, right amount of people. The airports are hurting us, so you either have a layover or you drive 1.25 hours to RD. Still easy peasy!
@@LivingInGreensboroNC Also, Was you here when Winston Salem's airport terminal was operational? They closed Winston Salem in 1999 or 2000. All that is there is airplane maintenance facilities. Thanks for commenting back Meridith.
