I keep thinking how my all-time favorite band of my 50 year existence made these sounds in-studio and had difficulty performing them live many times. I think Aussie Pink Floyd is amazing to have not only adopted the passion for Pink Floyd but for doing them 100% justice in recreating their songs LIVE! Bravo! Once again my soul takes flight, & my heart can do nothing but be inspired all over again. I commend u and I'm sure the original band can be nothing but highly flattered and impressed! BRAVO!
quickly closing in on 50 years as a PF fan and my skepticism alarm was on high. then the tone and the green lasers began and all was good in the world. very well done.
These guy's are the Best Floyd tribute band out there! AND Their stage and light show are brilliant! I've seen Pink Floyd live three times growing up, 1987, 1988, and 1994, and there is no more Pink Floyd tours:) Seeing these guy's is as close as it gets, and IF they still were playing, ya can bet The stage show / lasers ect.,... would be very similar as the Aussiie use the lattest and Best equipment in the business, Hell David Gilmour hired them for his 60th Bday party and said they were "better" than Floyd. I'm saying it's by far worth the ticket price to "Experience" the Aussies play live! It's one hell of an experience, and why I see them every time they play my State!
When they played Yankee Stadium in 1994 I worked for the company that made the 7000 watt arc lamps for their rear projection system. I was sent along with our sales rep to check out the projection system for an occasional no start of the lamp. Due to the distance from their generator trailer some times up to 600 feet there was a voltage drop to the power supply. I found the power supply was at fault not our lamps, we recommended a boost transformer to solve the problem. We had all area passes and spent the whole day with the band during the afternoon sound check they played Sorrow, we were standing in front of the sound platform on second base the stage being on home plate when the plywood panels on the platform along with our chests began to vibrate with the power of the bass speakers. We had Chinese dinner with the band in the Yankee cafeteria under the stands. The band did a two hour set and an encore. when we left the stadium to get back on the highway to NJ the police ran us around the block four times until the traffic cleared, it was a very long day but one I will never forget
I had to keep reminding myself that this wasn't Pink Floyd. I'm a massive Floyd fan, so tend to be over critical, but this is amazing! I love your stuff. Never give this up. I love it!
@@JayWater steve macs guitar set up pretty much emulates Dave Gilmores. It should, it was custom built by the same guy who made Daves. Any who, if Dave Gilmore books you to play his 50th birthday, you've probably impressed the right person. Enjoy!
This is awesome!!! I think he sounds very much like Gilmour, vox and guitar. But at the same time, I wouldnt go to the show..... Not that Im a purist, but there is only 1 Pink Floyd. Also - I have never understood the concept of working incredibly hard to model one's life after anothers. I celebrate individualism. But to each his own, looks like a lot of people really dig these cats, and I can see why. Superb!
+rkl17 It's worth going to the shows! I've seen Pink Floyd live in 1993 and for me there is no comparable band. But the guys of Aussi Floyd are so close to the originals. And you cannot experience the feeling of the brilliant music combined with the show but live! So if you wanna dive deep into the feeling of Pink Floyd - it's a very good substitute. The originals won't be on stage any more (it's a real pitty!)
I couldn't agree more! These guy's are the Best Floyd tribute band out there! AND Their stage and light show are brilliant! A question for Aussie Floyd... Was it you or you tube that decided to throw an advert in at 1:22 ?? Just as you lose yourself to the music you get slapped by a f'ing ad for some crap you never wanted. I've come to see you live for the last god knows how many years & the next time I come see you I don't want to be sat there waiting for the ad break.
just compared this performane on YT with a Performance from Pink Floyd and sadly this is a bit lacking in stature in comparison but still very good in its own right
Dave Fowler, in your vlog, you asked if you were that good a guitar player? Nah mate, you are way better, in my humble opinion, you are Gilmours' heir apparent
is it just me or this tribute bands sound lifeless and very robot-like? they really tend to replay what Pink Floyd did, not recreate it and put innovation in it. They are usually very stiff in case of getting the Pink Floyd song on the stage and not the Pink Floyd sound.
I don't think so, pretty cool to see someone try and get David's feel for music. 100% correct no. But dang give this dude some respect. He can sure as heck play the guitar.

A MASTERPIECE MICHIGAN 2021 KEEP ROCKIN AUSSIE FLOYD
I saw them, in February, at Zenith of Rouen (Normandy, France) : brilliant show !

I saw them tonight at the Mohegan Sun Arena (I am an usher there) and they truly are the best Floyd Tribute band! LOVE them and their show!
Douglas Koch. Hi

I have seen them 13 times! As close as you can get to the real thing--

Simple concept really, ...money.

I went to see them in Berlin this year. I think that the light shows were superb and reason enough to see the shows.

They ain't just another "tribute act", these guys are a force to be reckoned with -
Toll!!!!
Хорошо мальчики поют. Как и было в Pink Floyd.
Sweet smell of the Great Sorrow :)
Lies over the land

I like these guys. Check out youtuber fpeynet's version of this. He plays and sings everything on it except the drums. It is incredible!

hele goede band, ze moeten vaker naar nederland komen.
Binnenkort in 013, maar ik ga vanavond naar Münster (ietsje dichterbij)
He sounds freakily like Gilmour

Say You are an Aussie and playing Pink Floyd
They are a Pink Floyd TRIBUTE band. So, yes, that's why they are playing Pink Floyd.
Far fucking out
Non mi piace il sound ...troppo effetto ci sono tribute band meno famose che hanno suoni bellissimi...non che loro non siano bravi...ma mi sembrano più bravi in effetti speciali
Se oye re feo la guitarra al principio 🤣🤣

Feel ity for this guy forced to copy someone else all his life...
THEY SOUND BETTER THAN PINK FLOYD

THEY SOUND BETTER THAN PINK FLOYD
CAPS-LOCK P wtf
BOO HISS

Lol yea right.. not even close to the pulse version
They are close. But they are however a tribute band. Nothing compares to the original masters of experience.
You are Good, but ripping off Pink Floyd
Brent Carlson. Hi
