Hi, I'm having a hard time trying to make a live recording of a rehearsal: I hooked up the overhead mic ( the live recording mic) to the 13 or 14 channel and it gets the instruments live recorded well, but the singer's microphone, connected to any other channel goes to the recording software internally, so when the singer is singong goes way on top and the instruments cannot be heard. Can I have some with this issue please? many many thanks
Why is the USB not mixing aidio and mic through the 2-TR USB to Main..? I am trying to go live on Facebook but the usb seems not be be able to give me the track plyed from my laptop to the mixer and going live on the same laptop. On my previous much smaller mixer it was possible. Even when trying to record straight from the mixer by USB to the windows recorder wont work...
What would be the best way to get the audio from this mixer into an iPad? We are using Facebook live to record our sets, how would you suggest we get the best audio into our iPad?
No Multi Track recording on this one, only the mixed sum is recorded. The same goes for the USB input to the mixer which can only be directed to the output without going to the mixer - e.g. treating USB input like a line in would be nice.
It's possible to use Garageband, you just need to make sure you set the X2442USB Mixer as your input audio source on your computer and within Garageband for you to be able to record signals from your mixer.
@@InternecivusRaptus No driver is needed on the Mac. Just plug it in and either select the Mixer in your music software (like Garageband) or in your system preferences.
The way I use it is straight from the main mixer line out or rca out into the phone jack on your laptop or iPad. Select microphone on your GarageBand end it should work. Also very very important, the cable going into your phone input jack should have 3 rings on the tip. Make sure you use the yello for audio. Weird but it works.
Question: Does the USB output record in up to 24 separate tracks at the same time?
How many independent inputs can be sent via usb to computer for multi-track recording in the DAW? Thanks.
It's can record multitrack? I want to record with 8 ch at the same time..
How many tracks can you record simultaneously via usb?

Is it possible to connect 4 sets of wireless in ear monitors to this, for a 4 piece rock band?
So it can handle multi-track recording into a DAW via USB or will you only receive the master bus?
FX to Aux function?

Hello, can it multitrack record via USB ?
Does it have line/instrument inputs and would it be compatible with the DAW, - FL STUDIO? Looking to get a major upgrade from my audio interface.
That is my Question too, can you record all the tracks at the same time with the software?
