Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29UB Departing Hawthorne, CA

Here's some rare footage of a Ukrainian Air Force MiG departing the Hawthorne Air Faire. This is one heck of a way to cap off the end of the Cold War, which ended just a year prior, in 1991. Dimensions of the field are: 4956 x 100 ft. / 1511 x 30 m. As always, thanks for watching!

My family used to go to the Hawthorne airshow every August. I saw the Mig 29 do it's vertical takeoff. I don't know if it was this year or not. I was 4 in 1992.

I swear I see the back of my family's heads in this. Oldskool. Would love to see a show like Hawthorne again. Pretty sure I lost most of my hearing from the old MiG demos.
