Genu Varum look it up. Most images i'm seeing arent not fully bowed legs like an archers bow. Unless you have Rickets or blounts disease its probably a normal part of your biology. I owe a lot of my jumping and agility to bowed legs.
hey man, ive actually noticed this too, i have a slight bow to my legs, but im extremely agile and have an incredible jumping height, you really think its because of the bowing?
My legs are so weird.. Going down the leg, Bows out before the knee going back in after the knee.. Idk if this can ever be corrected =/ also have flat feet which I've been working on
the groin promotes internal rotation and adduction though aka promote a more valgus/less varus position which is desirable in this population. Thus this would be elongated in a varus position and should be strengthened. Im confused and need more answers here. I would have presumed hip internal rotation and adduction movements would be the primary fixes to a functional varus knee alignment.
Hi Eric, I have a 15 yo son who developed it at age of 8 I think that is due to hockey that drastically increased his leg muscles. do you think it will help him?
Honestly I thinki slowly started developing mine when I would drive all the time for work. Doing sales house to house I would always be driving im 6'3 and would drive my Ford ranger all the time and to compensate for my legs feeling cramped I would just adjust them out and that really used to fw my ankles now I notice them kind of bowed and I'm like wtf...

So if I have Bow legs, turned knees, turned ankles, and crocked toes,it would make sense to not do any leg exercises until I can correct each of these issues. All part of the Kinetic chain,so I'd think any movements will increase pain.I'm asking Eric your opinion? Man am I f-ed up bad at 39.
