The supreme court law mentioned by Deborah NOrville was upheld on 6/15/89, and that was a Thursday, and this is a Thursday episode as La Law was said to air "tonight". So the airdates for these four episodes were 6/14-6/16 and 6/19/1989.

@@SyncopateTheShot He definitely enjoyed hosting this show. When the writing staff and Gary come up with bizarre clues to the crossword (I think 1987 they started pushing the envelope), yes Chuck really ribbed them on it. Honestly I listen to the clues myself and some of them got me thinking...WHAT?! Who the heck wrote this? Most of the time it was either Gary Johnson or Jan Heininger that got Chuck all worked up. LOL But I'm not counting out Deb Dittmann or Richard Janaver, because they had some clues which Chuck roasted too.
I remember this game show and the host.
I'll Be Back In Two and Two!

Eric is a really good player. He blasted through the speed round.
Did you know that early scrabble champ Mark Daubleman was also on an episode of love connection?
Just as the show starts at 0:36, there's somebody walking backstage. Is that Chuck?
Looks like that pilot apparently wanted to practice crash landings as well...
oh great
Nicholas is now a 31 year old.
What was the meaning of syllable for “a division for Chrystler?”
Just dividing a word into syllables. Could have been a division of any 2+ syllable company or word. Weird I know

They put the L on the board for Judy a little late in the speed round. She should have been brought back if she wasn't.

I vaguely remember this show as a kid. Chuck Woolery looks like he does not enjoy hosting this show.
Really?? I had the feeling Chuck enjoyed hosting Scrabble especially with he he interacted with the contestants. That's news to me...
@@tmap92 just my observation. Never said it was confirmed, sheesh.

Whos steve garvey lol
I believe he was a catcher for the LA Dodgers. He was known for both the 1981 NLCS home run, and the very iconic interference call in the 78 WS.

@@bentheswitchsportsfan06 If that NLCS was against the Expos, I believe e it was Rick Monday who hit that famous home run
