I've never been to King's Lynn but not sure I want to now 😂 Some very creepy stories. Those witches were damned if they did and damned if they didn't. Sounds like the lady had second thoughts on getting married but a bit overkill doing away with yourself. Enjoyed the editing and narration 👍

Boiling eggs in cold water, very intriguing! Could you imagine much more an awful demise than being burned.. Terrible practices and cruel times..Wow! Being tied to a chair and thrown into water, such barbaric acts of cruelty. Very eery house.. I imagine the mischief that so called wizard got up to. That’s awful, I don’t blame her haunting, if her husband did that to her. Omg I digress, boiled alive.. that’s unfathomable… Ducking stools, sounds like those inflicting these punishments may well have been the devils.. 37 ghosts, how eerily frightening. All these different theories on how to find out someone was a witch, seems to me these were some seriously twisted and sadistic people who loved tormenting women 🤦♂️😅 King's Lynn looks a really fascinating town, lots of stories to tell and lots of nice buildings. I've never been but want to now! I think cucking stalls are used for different purposes these days! Hang on, strapped naked, tongues in the neck, perhaps not. This was brilliantly presented and narrated ladies, I know from experience just how time-consuming these types of videos are so thank you for your hard work and giving us a very entertaining and interesting video ❤
Sprry to be pedantic but it's actually Northe End fishing community which predates north Lynn but are pretty much one and the same now.The area around the Bentinck pub is north End,around loke road.And Long pond is bottomless..😂
Ah no worries, Jamie. Thanks for clarifying that. I had a quick Google search about the long ponds. They were excavated during the 1600s to enhance the fortification of the northern part of the town. All these different theories on how to find out someone was a witch, seems to me these were some seriously twisted and sadistic people who loved tormenting women 🤦♂️😅 King's Lynn looks a really fascinating town, lots of stories to tell and lots of nice buildings. I've never been but want to now! I think cucking stalls are used for different purposes these days! Hang on, strapped naked, tongues in the neck, perhaps not. This was brilliantly presented and narrated ladies, I know from experience just how time-consuming these types of videos are so thank you for your hard work and giving us a very entertaining and interesting video ❤

Sprry to be pedantic but it's actually Northe End fishing community which predates north Lynn but are pretty much one and the same now.The area around the Bentinck pub is north End,around loke road.And Long pond is bottomless..😂
Ah no worries, Jamie. Thanks for clarifying that. I had a quick Google search about the long ponds. They were excavated during the 1600s to enhance the fortification of the northern part of the town. Well done video. It is kind of sad that there are a lot of witch stories. It kinda of shows to me a bias to older women. I realize some older people can be grumpy but at least these days we don't burn them at the stake.
