I made something similar with a back-ups 1200, made a lifepo4 pack 12v stepped that to 24v and it works just fine. im gona do a 24v lifepo4 pack for a smart ups 1500 i have laying around. its a good way to use these ups after they are upgraded.
Yes it is a great way to use these. I didnt modify it much, Only added the extended wires for the batteries. I have seen where people have added the extra mosfet transistors to the power section. I felt no need in that because I wouldnt be using it at full loads anyways. I will probably add an additional cooling fan in the future. But as long as it works for my needs I wont worry to much about. Its a small setup for the shed. Unlike my Home system is much larger.
@@SoutheastOhioSolarHaven yeah when you think about what they are supposed to be for only to be used for 20min to 1hr, mine only have a 24ah battery so it wont matter, good videos enjoyed seeing that solar shed coming together 👍🏻
Good morning cool I have a ac unit it takes 480 Watt's not to bad it a Haier. 5000 btu I been working on my truck at night lol ☺️ the bug s are bad this year
Now that's awesome that you can use old electronics to power up the solar shed.

Good idea if you are stuck for an inverter.
That's a great idea but my question is how the hell do you deal with the dead gum beeping telling you that the power is off
Most of the ones I have , You can turn off the peeper by pressing the middle top button once.
Or connect to the USB port and use your computer to permanently turn off.
And mine is also got a little charger in it to charge the batteries
Most of them have a charger to charge the batteries after a power outage .
Yes Sirrrr!🤘💥
