Georgia at Auburn 2013, not only did it set up the stakes for the iron bowl, but it was a simply an extraordinary football game. Auburn seeming unstoppable at first, only to see a 20 point fourth quarter lead go up in smokes and forced to convert a fourth and 18 in the most amazing of ways. I think that game had more of a magic aspect than this game tbh.
ive seen this a hundred times and i just now realized that Chris Davis knocked the running back out of bounds at 1 second left in the game. You couldn't write a better ending for such an epic iron bowl
Brian Hill I agree that the USC vs Texas game overall was awesome but what for me puts this game at the top of my list is not only the rivalry that makes this game so intense but the importance of this game having the winner go to the SEC championship and the ending to top it off
Sammy Blash Yes. He and his wife were killed in a car accident on May 25th. They were stopped at an intersection and were rear ended by a speeding driver who “fell asleep”. The 16 yo driver tested positive for marijuana but that doesn’t necessarily mean he was high at the time he plowed his Jeep going 90 MPH into the the back of Rod and Paula who were stopped at the time. The driver has been charged with 2 counts of manslaughter.
Whenever I'm in a gloomy mood, I come to UA-cam and watch the infamous Chris Davis runback. And tears of joy start flowing. It just doesn't get any better than this. War Damn Eagle.
@@mazda_rt24-p Nothing will ever diminish the excitement of the 2013 runback. Yeah, it sucked to lose this year, but we're very proud of the way our guys played,, considering we are an unranked team who played a crappy season. Bama only won because we screwed up twice in the final couple minutes. Just look at the expressions on all those radio guys' faces. They were ready to lose. If I were a Tide fan, I'd have a Valium prescription ready for the SEC game with Georgia. GO DAWGS.
actually he is a free agent now. he was playing defensive back for the jaguars last year. he doesn't have the height to make it in the nfl as a qb but he will always be remembered for what he did in 2013.
Harris Highlights to me the better and more unlikely play to ever happen was the Michigan State Michigan Miracle, because kickoff returns do happen, I understand that they are very rare and in this situation it's even more rare, but the fumble that Michigan had to hand Michigan State the win I think is 10 times more unlikely because the ball is in Michigan's possession. Michigan State almost doesn't even have a say with what the outcome of that play is until after the ball is fumbled right into a Michigan State players hands
I was there, front row of the upper stands on the Auburn end zone with the AU facing us, I was there for the Georgia Miracle and i thought that was gonna be the craziest finish i would ever see on the plains, then that shit happened, one of the greatest nights of my life.
Was at the Georgia game to. Sitting around a bunch of Georgia fans thinking they had already won the game all this sudden Bobble bobble touchdown my thoughts exactly thought this was going to be the best play and didn't like you said this happens I believe in Auburn and love them WAR EAGLE BROTHER
Was at both games as well in the student section. I will never forget these two games for as long as I live. When Davis turned that corner I literally thought the stadium was going to collapse. Could literally feel the stadium shaking
Camdon Cherry This loss wasn’t a normal fucking loss. It decided who were the National and SEC champions plus the best ending of any college game of all time. Bama vs Ole Miss was a great game as well is 2014.
I don’t like most bama fans, but you seem like one of the sane ones who can appreciate a great moment, like the national championship 2 years ago when tua threw it to devante smith for the game winner.
2013 national championship fsu v auburn. It was a hell of a game and I believe it's a game to remember. To me was one of the greatest national championship games ever played.
Oh man. From an Alabama native and fan, that one was painful to watch. Still though, I cannot deny that this belongs as one of the top plays in college football history.
I didn't have a horse in this race, but I definitely remember seeing the last part of this game with my dad. That's what CFB is all about ..those crazy finishes. Historical game.
Oh man this brings back some memories,I bet the kicker had a nightmare that night when he went to bed thinking,"I could've made that kick but because of #9 I wasn't able to"
Goosebumps, I remember laying down pissed thinking Alabama would win and when he hit the sidelines I jumped out of bed so fast and was screaming 😂 greatest ending to a game ever
I was lucky enough to be in the student section for this game and the Georgia game. Literally felt like the stadium was going to collapse once Chris Davis got around the corner on the run back
I was there in 2013. I missed the greatest iron bowl BEFORE this, 1972 17-16. Had a ticket and did not go. Always regretted it. THIS game made up for that. Unless you are an Auburn fan it is hard to explain what this game means for Auburn. THIS GAME will always be mentioned as one of the absolute greatest every played no matter how long they play the game. I am just glad that I got to go and see it live. That atmosphere will never be duplicated.
2016 and 2017 National Championship Games Both were instant classics, with the second one actually coming down to the last second. Definitely Games to be Remembered
This was the best regular season game I ever saw--right ahead of Notre Dame/U.S.C. 2005. As much as it still stings, the 2006 Rose Bowl was the best game I ever saw.
My greatest memory of this game is I was with my family 15-20 ppl there. The play happened an we went nuts, I usually go for a high five to my dad first but it was so emotional I ran straight to my wife and picked her up an swung her around kissing her all over. She died 3 years later, a month before her 30 birthday. Leaving me and two precious kids behind. I always look back on this day an thank the little things in life, Auburn family is so important to me, to her. We love you so much Tisah Cheyenne, War Eagle baby War Eagle
I know it’s kind of random but did anyone else see the dlineman lay out the olineman, who then comes back into the play and blindsides the dlineman while davis is walking into the endzone?
David did a brilliant job keeping his feet in bounds when he was on the side I mean at one point it was down to inches and him not puting his heel down.
I was in the parking lot Tailgating and you don’t know the feeling of hearing the shouts and screams and not knowing what was going on till we saw it 10 seconds later. WAR EAGLE!

Everyone forgets about that incredible game because this followed, but that ending was truly unreal
Harris Highlights Blue grass miracle: 2002 LSU vs Kentucky
And it was Chris Davis who knocked him out of bounds at 1 second. So essentially set up his own Miracle.
ive seen this a hundred times and i just now realized that Chris Davis knocked the running back out of bounds at 1 second left in the game. You couldn't write a better ending for such an epic iron bowl
This is one of my favorite games of all time
Greg Stones 😂 dang
Wait really?? Damn
BroBrothers Combs so is that 2014 Oregon vs FSU game too
this was a great game
Sup dude!
Ya wut good
Highlight Heaven! How's It Going?
yes it was
I will always cry when I hear "Well I guess if this thing comes up short he can field it"
Alabama's special teams really killed them the whole game
Those kickers still probably aren't allowed in any bars in Tuscaloosa hahaha
Harris Highlights they aren't
they also ruined the lsu game in 2011
@@HarrisHighlights I mean, Griffith actually had a solid kick. If it was a closer distance, he probably would've hit it.
@Sub for Trump 2020 that Alabama kicker was 56.8% on field goal for his career....
There are so many NFL players in this game it is insane to watch back
mainly on bama. i think carl lawson and gabe wright are really the only ones who have stuck around from auburn. from an auburn fan
Cody parkey 😂😂
@Brianhill Dee ford
Brian Hill nah ur forgetting Ricardo Louis, Dee Ford, Cody Parkey, and a few others
Dee Ford, Ford sealed the Georgia game prior to this one.
This has to be the best ending ive ever witnessed. Still gives me chills to this day. And im a notre dame fan
Yeah I am too. I also loved Miles Boykins catch against LSU and then trucked the CB for the TD
Dang does it suck to be a notre dame fan right now
@@rhettwalker2236 deep sigh

i'd say the texas-usc natty was overall a better and more intense game, but nothing matches the final 5 or so minutes of this game
Brian Hill I agree that the USC vs Texas game overall was awesome but what for me puts this game at the top of my list is not only the rivalry that makes this game so intense but the importance of this game having the winner go to the SEC championship and the ending to top it off
Tom Brady yeah but Texas USC was for the actual championship lol.
The Man with No Name dude shut up lol stop trying to make 2 dead teams alive again Alabama and Auburn are still relevant USC and Texas are dead asf
Aaron Caldwell Texas and USC will always be relevant son. Must still be a kid.
Love hearing Rod’s call once again. He will be missed tremendously.
He died in da car accident right?
Sammy Blash Yes. He and his wife were killed in a car accident on May 25th. They were stopped at an intersection and were rear ended by a speeding driver who “fell asleep”. Patrick Star Yes that game was awesome

Patrick Star Uh, recent national championship? But it was a good game from Winston
I don't disrespect Auburn or Fsu but fsu got crushed by Alabama but it happens a lot when you just lose a game and eventually ur top player
16:12 #9 is the reason he missed the kick. How could you stay focused with him moving the hips like that lol?

@Tristan Hudson I think he has a girl
