If your looking for a hatchback that has a lot of goodies for cheap it is great, but i have a 14' and the road noise on highway could be better maybe it is just the tires but other than than that it is good car, gets looks.
Looks good ! I like the blue exterior color, although Im not a fan of the orange interior trim. Best new addition in my opinion is the 7 speed dct. Better mpg's, and a littler smoother/faster 0-60 times now Kia ?
Not a fan of the facelift, at least compared to the 2014-2016 models. Looks more like the Sedona than a Forte. And the dct isn't enough to to warrant a trade in.
I like the changes the made. Not a fan of that blue though and blue is my favorite color. It's very "blah". A car company with "sporty" looking cars should offer more exciting colors choices. White, silver, gray, black, this blue, and a red. Awfully generic.
I am worried the 7 speed dual clutch transmission sucks. The feel of it is horrible compared to the very nice, and precise current 6 speed auto found on the 2014-2016 models.
KIA keeps getting better and better!
getting better every generation. dual clutch trans! That is just the balls
sweet, i can't wait for detail review,, tnx ED....
It would be great if KIA gave the option of upgrading the sound system for the Forte like they do in the Soul and Optima.
Great review! Love the car 😃
better than previous one
wish they would up the horsepower atleast to be considered a true competitor to the GTI, Mazdaspeed3, Focus ST and other hot hatches.
Good review! Do you have the HP and Torque info on those engine options?
it's the 1.6L Turbo, so around 180-190, and as for torque it's around 155-170. pretty much what the 2016 optima has.
but the 2.0L naturally aspirated may be around the same as well, maybe more
New headlights look way better
Does it have daytime running lights?
+thecarelectronicguy
Yes, it does.
Is it a good jummp from Altima2012 to this car?

Not a fan of that orange trim though.
I agree

hopefully this will be my first new car
Hey Dave! Are they going to make a Koup version also? I have a 2014 Koup EX with the premium package. Love it!
did he say 2.0 liter? it looks like the 1.6l...
Samuel l. Jackson the 5 trim has a 1.6 l 201hp.. The other ones have a 2.0 from 147 to 163 hp. This Asian guy is a mess. Lol
Wow, really nice!
looks good..
When is the release date? Every post and video is saying the release date is 2016 June but it's already June....
Mags of the Proceed GT,Nice.o

any news yet ?
Is this based on the same frame as Elantra GT (European spec) or regular longer wheelbase Elantra/Forte?

Hot looking inside and out!
Umm i like this
The interior design does not match the new Kia/Hyundai spirit and philosophy !
music is Cr @p.

I drove the Hyundai dual clutch, which will be the same that they use on the KIA. It's called the Hyundai Veloster turbo, ever hear of it?
It's a dry dual clutch, which makes it more reliable but slower to shift. They also have it on the KIA Optima turbo, ever hear of it?
Then get the manual!
looks good..
