One thing that sucks is that it takes longer to level up using this method with Aqua than for Ventus and Terra. It's because when you complete the final episode, Ventus's battle level for radiant garden increases to level 9, for Terra it'll increase to level 10, but for Aqua it'll stay at battle level 6 throughout the entire game.
true but even though terra radiant garden is 1 more level than ventus they both basically give you the same amount
My radiant garden for Terra and Ventus are still lvl 6 and all I have left is the mysterious figure for terra
my radiant levek wi8th terra and ven is still level 6 and not 9 evne thogutbi finished there story
My god these menu sounds sound weird due to me having only played Final Mix on 2.5

If you use a Victory pose after a Mega Flare, that works too.
I'm only getting like 20 experience from using victory pose after using mega flare on these reactor waves. Do you know why?
@@cstober2 you probably have walking experience on. Disable that ability first then try again.

@@TMAXgamesI know this is late but he could just not move after the mega flare and do the victory pose. That way it doesn’t trigger it.
Another tip. Make sure you have all Magic Haste and Reload Boost, so you don’t have to wait too long.
That's a really cool tactic to level the characters up! Especially Aqua! I didnt really know while playing about the leveling up.
While playing Birth by Sleep to level up for the Mysterious Figure battle (Beat him around level 54-ish on Proud with Aqua 2-3 years after i got the game. Best day of my life), I actually used the Olympus Coliseum and just went in and out of areas because they seem to have the most enemies in the area just outside the vestibule. They were very good for leveling up the slot command stuff
For those playing before kh3 releases, try instead in Neverland between the area outside of Peter hideout and the gully with thundaga and sacrifice. Gives about the the same exp and feels a little quicker, less boring at least for me.
Except that Ventus not Aqua do not have access to the Sacrifice command
I just started doing that yesterday, went from level 22 to 42 in a hour.
Thanks for the help one thing to point out too I'm sure people know this but too also have two victory poses since they give you triple i think of the exp you receive which you can get in the mirage arena so the layout is 3 flares and 2 victory poses as well as for abilities reload boost exp chance and magic haste to make the mega flares charge up faster when low on hp but other than that thanks for the help

Awesome vid, I personally carry 4 Mega Flares just for speed and time purpose lol and increase magic haste and I believe there was another ability in which your reload will be faster as well when you are at 25% of health as well, but in all just make sure you get abilities in which raises the speed to reload Mega Flare! I am all set with Ventus on this, next will be Terra and Aqua ^-^ and fighting mysterious figure, I spammed Fire Surge, it seemed to do the trick =D but idk there may be an easy way to beat him/awesome way to beat him
Thunder Surge = Godly against him

And for tricks on Kingdom Hearts 2, I found an easy way to level up all Summoning no problem, as well as an easy way to get a specific item you want, would you mind checking them out and letting me know if there is an easier way for them? =)

The other move you were thinking of was "Reload Boost." Thanks for reminding me about the Magic Haste, Im working on that now.

If u just wanna Beat each characters story and aint bothered with all the side stuff this place is still good for exp and leveling up commands,even with out the exp boost and mega flare spam just takes a little bit longer
you can also use exp walker, put something to apply pressure to your analog stick to cause the character to walk around. just leave them walking around over night with your psp plugged in and when you wake up you should be leveled up a good amounts of levels and repeat

For me to level up I use the mirage arena when I'm at a lower level and somehow I can get more exp outta this

Hey Dean and hey people in the comments. I found a glitch on Kingdom Hearts Final Mix. I uploaded a video tutorial of it on my channel if anyone wants to check it out. I hope that maybe a X Keeper can make a video tutorial on it because not many people know about this glitch and it is a pretty cool one.
save yourself some hassle, the first wave gives you over 1K exp and the second only about 300. Victory pose is garbage in this instance. use one megaflare because it takes care of the first two waves out of the 3. focus on just that. trust me, its way quicker

Use 4 mega flare is even faster. Besides there is a faster way on Nederland. Plus, there is a lot less chance of dieing.
I feel I can beat the mysterious figure because I always come in with moves like mega flare, tornado, and Zantetsuken so mysterious figure becomes op as heck and pulls out his one hit kills the moment the battle begins...

First of all you need second chance and once more it will also help a lot to have a loadout of 4 curagas and 4 thunder surges because it does a lot of damage and you become invinceble.
I was level grinding rather un-efficiently and so I gave up. When I booted up my PSP again, I noticed that I had 3 mega flares with Vene LOL

do the mirage arena a lot and i think ice titan fight brings your hp up. and get a bunch of hp boosts and beat vanitas final boss battle. just an fyi though, when your hp is really high it feels like your hp drains really fast

Also, Mysterrious Figure isn't really hard, he's just annoying as fuck. You can get him within two hourx if you're at 99 wifh Vanitas' Keyblade (if fighting fair) or Ultima Weapon (for Thunder Surges).

Also you need to speed up your Magic Haste so you can get Mega Flare coming back faster =)

HP is increased when you defeat certain bosses through worlds. You cannot increase it by leveling up, but you can equip the "HP boost" abilities, just search for it on google. Easy one. As for the mega flares, you can equip the "magic haste" abilities. Same thing.

Can anyone tell me if there's a way to keep from being too strong in this game? The past KH games made it so i could barely finish a combo before the enemy dies after i've leveled up.
Just equip the no exp ability
Mau Could you please explain how that works exactly? Do you just stop at your current level? Keep your other current abilities?
To equip the no exp ability, open the start menu, go to abilities and scroll down until you find the no exp ability, to activate and deactivate it, it should be Y or X i dont remember but it should say what button to press.
What it essentially does is stop all exp gained from killing any type of enemies, thus being able to stay at the level you are when you activate it. e.g say im a level 28, and i activate it, then i will stay that level even after i beat the game. Although you get no exp, you can still get ability boosts, like "max hp" or magic haste etc. And yes, you keep all other abilities, it only affects exp. No exp means no leveling up, and not leveling up means no stregth and magic stats going up, so no killing enemies in one attack
Mau Thank you! That sounds like just the item i've been searching for pertaining to Kingdom Hearts. i don't understand why more RPG type games don't have things like this, specifically manual leveling up. Anyway that seals it, i'll buy the game when i can then, thanks again^^

Yeah, I enjoyed BBS having its own unique menu sounds like that apart from the series but I guess they changed it to the regular KH sounds.

I don't wanna be that guy but this technique is trash, real trash
If you're playing through casually, you won't need the extra levels
If you're wanting to take on superbosses you've more than likely got a crap ton of levels just from grinding commands and if you're using thunder surge strats, as long as you're between level 40 and 60 you can beat all the superbosses one way or another
If you're a completionist, refer to the above point and then some
And to even get mega flares, you'll most likely be around level 30 and up anyway so you may as well just grind for other useful abilities and commands instead of putting a lot of resources into Mega Flare
