Sorry a bit late to this edition, I was on the Reap stand at the bike show NEC last year 2017 and had an in depth Conversation with the boss and his son over this bike. Awesome design and the carbon guru that they have really knows his stuff. The word is that Campagnolo has looked at fitting a group set to it as well. I have some shots of that day at the bike show if anyone is interested catch me up on twitter. Great video as always, long time GCN subscriber just come to GTN.
fiddler on the bike because integrated brakes are often finicky to set up, because rim brakes on carbon rims is a no-go for me, especially with clincher tyres, because disc brakes brake better in the wet...
integrated brakes are (except Canyon) tricky to maintain, yes - so are disc brakes; rim brakes on MODERN carbon rims are no problem at all (and in fact way way better than rim brakes with alloy rims where some years ago); and especially with a TT bike rim brakes are perfect also in the wet, no discs needed (tbh: the disadvantages of discs also are meaningless at TT bikes - with one exception: the shitty maintenance)
One of the latest Tour magazines showed a comparison of TT- and Tri-Bikes. The result was very interesting. The P5 TT-Bike is still the fastes bike on the market according to their test, even faster than the P5X or Canyon. Not a single Tri-Bike was faster than a TT-Bike from the same brand. To be fair, the integration of hydration and so on is missing on a TT setup. In this test was the fastest Tri-Bike the Felt IA FRD, but I missed a lot of Bikes, like my Specialized Shiv. Btw. Shiv, my Bike is my first pick over most of the pro bikes, because it's better set up than lots of pro bikes and fits so good to me. Maybe you ask why I spend so much money on my bike, the answer is simple, I like tech and now I have no excuse left, bad time splits are on me not the bike :)
I love your vids, but please do a video of the best wetsuits out there, please!!!!! I'd love to see it cause nobody else reviews this kind of stuff and I think that for triathletes it's very important what kind of wetsuit your using
The UCI understands that "the real meaning of cycle sport is to bring riders together to compete on an equal footing and thereby decide which of them is physically the best", in their words. Custom and lunatic machines benefit those with the deepest pockets (or the most sponsors), and goes against the universality of cycling.
Well, yeah. I get the principles and regulations. But thank goodness triathlon exists for basically showing what cycling could be without set regulations.

Hi johnnyxz10, we don't do reviews on the channel but we'll look at putting together a guide to buying a wetsuit and what to look for!
Reed's trek seems to have waxed chains, it's definitely not lube

Is p5x available in India?????
That P5 is so whack, but, as they say in Baseball: RESPECT THE STREAK

see what bikes cyclists would get if the uci doesn't regulate it? custom and lunatic speed machines.

When can I not be poor and fat and ride around on one of these for money?
Buy a good entry level road bike, used one, should be 200 usd or even less, then work up from there
They all look hideous
